I love this place. I was in Brooklyn on business and had never had shawarma and saw that on the sign and decided to drop in and try it. So amazing! The head cook(I think the owner) is very friendly. I stopped in several times during my trip and each time he gave me something new to try. Everything is excellent. I wish they had a location in my home town.

BUGSEVERYWHERE. Tiny green aphids were crawling all over everything last time I went(see the two pics I uploaded). Ordered the falafel anyway, and it was not good. Will not be returning!

Finally forced myself to stop by after work at around 1 am. got the falafel in a pita, with hummus, tahini, white sauce, and lettuce/tomatoes. I don’t know if it was because I was starving, but that falafel hit the spot! Also the guy making the food was friendly. ill def be back

I’ve been looking for good schwarma for a long time. Finally found it. Small hole in the wall, but don’t let appearances fool you. The food is great. My new go-to for falafel and all things middle eastern.

Excellent quality food at a good price. The guys behind the counter were fun and friendly. They seemed to understand English fine. 5 starts for the food/price ratio.

I have been passing by this place for over a year and promising myself that i would stop on. I am so glad that I finally did. The food was the best middle eastern fare that I have ever tasted. The owner whom I think is the owner was very friendly and you can tell he takes great pride in his food and establishment. We ordered the shwarma platter, chicken wrap?? and falafels. It was so delicious! We will definitely visit this spot again.

This place is a block away from my house, and serves every order to go. They make the falafel sandwiches right in front of you on fresh pita bread with all the toppings you ask for. This is by far one of the tastiest places I’ve eaten falafel sandwiches from. I’ve tried Zaytoon’s; in comparison to Falafilo, Zaytoon’s is McDonald’s, in the hood… I highly recommend this place and can’t stop going back for more.

Walked into this establishment on a quiet weekday afternoon to grab some lunch. They fry their falafels fresh to order, which is great, but naturally with only one person(the owner) behind the counter your order might get a little delayed if there are several people ahead of you. I had the falafel platter with hummus, babaghanoush and salad with vinegar dressing. You’ll even get a teeny carton of hot sauce if you ask for it. They have daily specials but their regular prices are pretty decent too.

hole in the wall. open til 4 am on weekends. falafel fried fresh to order. respectable selection of toppings. i prefer a crispier falafel, but the great staff, fun hours, and otherwise excellent food earns this place 5 stars. also, it is dirt cheap.

Incredibly delicious, flavorful, clean, consistent fresh food. Owner really invested and sweet, too. Super-cheap. Hits the spot every time. Get the lamb kefta platter, ground lamb and spices with a fresh salad, perfectly cooked rice, creamy hummus, mediterranean pickles and a warm pita, with the yogurt sauce on the side. Or try the simple chicken kebab, very tender chunks of chicken marinated in herbs and spices. Perfection.

Fantastic! Excellent falafel, smooth hummus and fried cauliflower(if you love cauliflower like i do you will need to go here) and tasty, thin, authentic pitas. So nice to see a non-chain joint sustained in the heart of park slope that’s so quickly becoming vanilla.

Don’t let the size of this place fool you, the food is fresh and delicious and made to order. The owner who also works in the kitchen is extremely nice and you can tell he takes pride in the food he serves. Definitely my go to falafel/shawarma joint in the area.

The felafels are always fried to order. The whole wheat pita isn’t made in house, but it’s warmed on the grill. The toppings are fresh. I recommend the pickles. The cook(who I think is also the owner) is friendly and gracious. This is the best $ 4.50 dinner in the neighborhood. Perfect for a quick bite before music at Union Hall, a night at the Sackett, or a show at Littlefield. There’s one table, but this is basically a takeout joint.

I dropped by this little spot after having a craving for falafel and desiring something cheap. I ordered the falafel sandiwch($ 4) and the baklava($ 2.5). It didn’t disappoint – the falafel was crispy where it should be and it was filling. I wouldn’t say it was the best falafel sandwich I’ve ever had, but it was satisfying. The baklava was the same – good, but nothing to really write home about. Everything is made to order by the friendly proprietor of the joint. Make a note that things are made to order, because this isn’t a joint where the falafels are pre-shaped and fried so it’ll take about 5 – 10 minutes before your sandwich is ready. I really want to try the stuffed grape leaves, but they only came as a side of 6 pieces for $ 4.50. Would come back if I wanted a falafel sandwich in the Park Slope neighborhood. *Cash only
