More than just the best vintage furniture shop in New York City, these guys have a unique point of view and a genuine eye for visual presentation. The objects in my apartment that I’m asked about the most come from Fresh Kills. Always a pleasure to visit or walk by to discover what’s new. The floor is arranged and re-arranged like a constantly evolving art installation, and the view through the front windows at night never disappoints.

My jaw dropped when I first walked into Fresh Kills, the gorgeous luxury vintage furniture shop. It has been styled to 1970’s swanky classic decadently cool perfection. It’s a great shop to visit to admire the beautiful and immaculate furniture and for design inspiration.

Ultra high-end vintage/new furniture store with a dead-on sense of classic retro style. Not that I could afford anything here – their prices on new couches, for example, are 25−40% higher than other purveyors without a ‘luxe Billyburg address.($ 7K for a Thayer-Coggin sofa!) It sure is an awful pretty place to browse through, though…

Brand new and poised for greatness with two big rooms full of 70’s and 80’s vintage furniture.
