Ordered the eggplant with chicken to go. There were literally 2 pieces of eggplant along with very little chicken and mostly bamboo, which is cheap filler food. Also, the lady there charged my credit card then started pestering me about how it’s a 15 dollar minimum to charge and that I should look at the sign. So weird. Um, maybe next time just mention that BEFORE you swipe my card. With so many great Thai places in Brooklyn, it won’t be difficult to avoid this lousy one.

I just ordered the ‘jungle curry’ lunch for delivery. It was prompt but they forgot to give me napkins and utensils. luckily I had it. The food is good. Not the same as in queens where it is spicy as hell. Still it was better than other Thai food around the area.

Very quick service. The Thai dumplings were great. Entrée was also great, but wish there was a little more meat and eggplant in it. Also, the menu said it came with jasmine rice, but I received plain rice. Then again, it was only $ 8 for the lunch special. Would go back again for a quick, cheap, enjoyable meal after work

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 10 year Valentine’s Day anniversary at Ghang. We were so happy with our choice! We ordered the crispy calamari, herb mussels, green papaya salad, shrimp pad see u, steamed red snapper, taro sticky rice with ice cream, and fried ice cream with raspberry sauce. Outside of wanting big pieces of taro for my dessert, we could not find anything negative to say about the restaurant. All the food was great! I personally loved the shrimp pad see u and always order that dish to compare it against other Thai restaurants, including the ones I tried when visiting Bangkok and Phuket. Ghang more than held its own with the best of them. The steamed red snapper was fantastic as well. We prefer steam fish because we think it really brings out the natural sweetness of the fish, especially when it’s super fresh. The seafood appetizers were all very fresh and tasty as well. My wife loved their cocktails and menu selection. She basically wanted to try everything! All the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and always smiling. This definitely made us feel more comfortable, especially during dessert time. Co-owners, Patrick and Bryan, make a great team when it came to designing the restaurant’s relaxing ambiance and fabulous menu. They are very easy to talk to and so accessible. We can’t wait to unwind and mellow out their again!

Tons of great Thai in the area(Joya is a personal fave if you have cash), but Ghang stands out. This place is great and inexpensive. Everything from the curries, stir fries, noodles, soups… everything is fresh, tasty and plentiful. On my last visit my friends soup tasted like straight salt water and the waitress was nowhere to be found(despite an empty restaurant) BUT Ghang is still a solid choice for Thai in Cobble Hill.

Joya is overpriced, overcrowded and nothing compared to this place! Everything was fantastic! The portions are excellent for the price and the dessert was phenomenal This is my new favorite go-to Thai restaurant.

Stopped by Joya’s around 30 min till close and they turned us away. Saw Ghang Thai still open a couple doors down and decided to give it a try. =) We ordered: 1. Pad See Ew(with tofu & veggies) — the wide noodles were super fresh, and flavorful. Perfectly sweet & salty. I loved the tofu in this dish too. 2. Tom Yum noodle soup(with tofu & veggies) — came with the thin egg noodles, the soup was a little too sweet for my liking but overall it was good. Overall, really happy to have found a yummy Thai place for late night eats in the neighborhood.

Praneet and her staff recently catered an event for us at Brooklyn Law School. The prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food offered. Praneet kept in touch with me and worked with me every step of the way to make it a success. On the night of the event, it was pouring but the food still arrived piping hot. Praneet set up food warmers and even brought us an extra side dish. The food was a little spicy but everyone loved it. We will definitely be using Ghang Thai for our catering needs again. * I also ordered take out for dinner to try before the event and the pumpkin chicken curry was my favorite. Definitely a return place for me.

I had a chance to eat here recently. I like the ambiance and wood grain made this Restaurant look unique. Although it’s a small space it was well laid out and comfortable. The food was good. We had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and drunken noodles with chicken. While we enjoyed our meals service was incredibly slow. We were one of only two couples in the place and yet it took forever to get our drinks. The drinks when they came were very good. I had the coconut mojito and I truly enjoyed it. Better service would have made this a 4 star experience. Truly unfortunate.

You know sometimes you just get in the mood for something different. Not the kind of different that leads to trying something new all together but the type of different that is familiar but when prepared differently makes you feel as if your having an all together new experience. I know that was a lot but I hope you get my point. I found that with Ghang Thai Kitchen. I’ve enjoyed Thai food may times before but I was most impressed with my meal. The service was prompt and attentive. The honey ginger Martini will make you run in circles it’s so smooth. I image most of their drinks are the bomb. Now, as for the food, I had the Brooklyn Basil for my entrée and my partner had one of their signature fried rice dishes. Truly, we both barely looked at each other during the meal because the flavor and spice left us speechless! We also had their Thai dumplings. The food and appetizers we had should receive an A++. I really believe both our meals were rather exceptional. My partner usually likes spicy and I do not but that night, I decided to go spicy and it made my dining experience phenomenal. I must try Ghang Thai Kitchen again real soon!

Just went there Friday night for my usual Thai style rainbow noodles salad, got to try their special crab meat fried rice. So good, you’ve got to try.

I was in search of great Thai food and to my surprise I found this restaurant. The food was amazing. I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp. The waiter asked what level spicy did I want. 1,2, or 3. I chose 3 which was very spicy. Although it was hot it was so delicious. I’m going back again the menu is excellent.

Since Thai food is my favorite cuisine, I have made it a habit to try as many Thai restaurants as I can and only revisit the ones that impress me the most. Ghang Thai is one of those very few. Ordered on Seamless a few times and have been so impressed that I decided to patronize in person. Ordered the«lemon grass chicken» and this was absolutely amazing. My friend ordered the«Noodle Tom Yum Soup» and this also exceeded our expectations. Would definitely order from here again.

Stop by for a chit-chat dinner before heading to a party with my friend from Boston. We ordered Pattaya, corn fritter and coconut mojito. Pattaya was super delicious, spicy and well seasoned. Seafood was also fresh and big in size… The corn fritter is very delicious, it’s our first time to eat this dish in New York. Coconut mojito also nice, not too strong.

Food I will give 3.5 … Tastes good. Huge menu so lots of choice. It’s the usual Thai flavor that you get in most places… Good thing is nothing tasted bad. The Tom kha soup tastes v good. Lemongrass chicken was quite flavorful. And the little garden at the back gets 4… The outside space is small but cute. Tables could be a bit more comfy. The waitress was v polite courteous and smiled a lot. Good ! hey serve the sticky rice n mongo !! Please try that

These freaking people are great and if you disagree you’re someone I assume I’d rather not associate with. Solid go-to’s include pad Thai shrimp(pro tip: ask them to remove the tails for you if you’re lazy like me) and the crispy angel wings(recipient of my vote for most adorable chicken wing name 2 years running). Never really dabbled in their curry or wok but the other reviewers seem to enjoy them so you probably will too. What really sells this place are its staff who have always been kind, courteous, and gracious, even when I’m desperately calling them after class just 30 min before closing. Great restaurant.

Good food, HOWEVER, here are my criticisms: I ordered a tom yum soup, which was not indicated spicy on the menu & it was. So they brought the soup, boiling hot(which is great, but then you know it’s going to take some time to eat it) & then next thing you know, after a few spoonfuls, they brought the entrée! I found that annoying. So I left the soup & ate the masaman coconut curry with chicken, which was the ONLY main dish on the menu that didn’t have a red paper next to it indicating it was spicy, yet it was. It was very good, however, the sauce did not permeate the chicken & the carrots were a bit undercooked. All in all a tasty meal, but sorry I can only give them 3 stars.
