Haven’t tried their pizza but the pastas are an awesome deal. You get huge portions for very low prices. While the food itself is no frills classic, every pasta dish I’ve ordered has been great. Garlic knots are hit or miss in terms of quality(read: garlic quantity) but I usually get them anyway.(They’re only $ 1.25! Toss ‘em in.)

The pizza is ok. It’s a go to when I know I won’t be next to Mike’s which is the best pizza. I think I’m most annoyed because you can’t buy garlic knots individually. I mean, I had a 5 minute discussion with the counter guy about buying just one or two. Who needs 5 garlic knots?! I would stick to the regular plain pizza… not anything fancy. The grandma slices are pretty good.

An average pizza joint, with average tasting pizza. There is two tables with benches, rather small, and the inside is not really appealing to look at, the menu board is rather old and discolored, and in my opinion the pizza on display looks kind of stale…

Mediocre pizza. Spent 14 bucks on a large pie with mushrooms and olives. Other toppings might be better but the cheese, sauce and crust were not good enough.

The crust tastes like cardboard and the cheese hardens to a really weird consistency. The delivery was fast, but if rather wait a little longer for actual pizza. Never ordering from here again.

There are no options around here, which is unfortunate. The delivery is super quick but it’s crappy NY delivery pizza, no surprises. The sicilian has been over cooked the last 2 times. The mushrooms are from a can. The cheese is absolutely low-grade, and the dough tastes like it has dough conditioners or doesn’t ferment properly. Not going to say I’ll never eat here again, but it will be out of necessity more than anything else.

It’s a pretty decent place. I picked up a pan pizza from here on the way home from work. It’s a HUGE pizza for a decent price — I ended up turning that pizza into four meals, so definitely a bargain. A cheese pan pizza though was a little bland for my liking even with red pepper sprinkled on top. The man himself was there, and he was truly a nice guy. He threw in some garlic knots to help keep the cheese off the box. All in all, while not the most stellar cheese pizza I’ve ever had, the crew and the price guarantees that I’ll be stopping in again to see if I can find something that better fits my tastes.

This pizza is literally the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. I just ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza and it was basically a slab of cold dough with hot sauce dumped on it, sprinkled with«technically chicken». I contacted GrubHub for a refund and when the service representative called the restaurant, the employees pretended not to speak English and hung up on him, even though I just had a mini-conversation with the delivery guy not an hour ago. To summarize, f*ck Gino’s.

Last pizza before I moved to California. Had it deliveried and it was still steaming hot. Since I couldn’t finish it and wouldn’t be able to eat it the next day, I just ate all the pizza tips, cheese and pepperoni off the slices. We all know that’s where the moneys at. Haven’t found a decent pizza place since I moved.

I have been ripped off so many times from this place. When they make their pies fresh that day, they are reasonably good ! However, I have had home delivered pies, on many occassion, that are just stale rotten! Usually its the basic cheese one, but I have had other toppings too. They clearly recycle their left over pies at the end of the night and refrigerate them, pull them out the next day, and they are beyond STALE! I made the mistake of stopping by there the other night for a slice. I hadnt even ordered when I was issued a slice of cheese pie. «thats mine»? I asked. «yes cause its fresh» so stupidly I took it. Only to be duped again by this joint! Crust was as hard as a shoe sole. I asked other patrons and theirs was clearly fresh. Buyer Beware !!

The food I’ve ordered from here is good — but I gotta say it’s kinda expensive. If it wasn’t for the price I’d give it more stars. I’m really irritated I spent $ 7.00 on mozzarella sticks and got five small frozen mozzarella sticks. Come on now.

I got a decent pie delivered more than 30 blocks away within 25 minutes. That counts for something. But as for flavor and texture, it could have been a bit better. This pizza was much better than your average fast food or 99 cent varieties, and it comes cooked from a brick oven which is always an upgrade. But the sauce needed some more sweetness and herbiness. The crust was the weakest spot; a bit too chewy for me. But overall the pies are reminiscent of the ones you get from more famous pizzerias, but with something missing. It’s pretty cheap, $ 10 – 15, so for that kind of money it really is A-OK.

I love their pizza. its worth the 10 $ that i pay plus free delivery. the pizza actaully tasted real unlike other pizzerias. It cant get better then that! delivery is 20 – 30 min(my work is 20 blocks away) the employees are so nice and very respectful. compared to the other pizzerias i ate around flatbush this is my favorite… so far ;) overall, i highly recommend them because of their prices, quality and customer satisfaction!.

So, Gino’s has greatly improved since they renovated and put in the brick oven. But it’s still not great pizza. I like the sauce, but the crust is kinda bready and not crisp enough. All in all, it’s «OK». The trattoria next door(also Gino’s) makes a more Italian style pizza entrée that is preferable, more a personal pizza if you will. But I digress. For delivery in PLG, this is my go to spot, only because the other choices are worse(Billy’s, Papa Johns). But for take-out or eat-in, it’s Family Pizza.

Great food BUT you need to call one number for entrés and another phone number for pizza. I like to have an entré and my kids like pizza so I need to make 2 phone calls and hope they get the order correct. Billy’s pizza doesn’t make you do that! Gino’s food is great but this is not worth the hassle. Sorry Ginos, lost another one.

This is my favorite place in the neighborhood. It is a bit of a trek from my apartment, though — and you can’t order online — which is a bit of a first-world-problems gripe, but I like ordering online, OK? — not being able to order online bugs me. Of course, this place in no way stacks up to the other places I’ve tried in Brooklyn. Back home in MD this might be my favorite pizza place, but it’s no Luigi’s. But in a neighborhood dominated by(admittedly fantastic) afro-caribbean restaurants, this Pizza place is a decent means of switch up your dining experience. That being said — I got a pepperoni slice & a cheese slice when I went here and they were both pretty good. If you’re walking past the place and want a slice — go on in and try it!

My fave local pizza, since courtelyou places won’t come up here. The crust could use work but the pizza is consistent. And I’m in love with their white slice.

I don’t know if these ratings are absolute or relative. RELATIVE to other New York pizza, this place and the others in the greater Flatbush/Prospect Lefferts Gardens/Propsect South area. They all suck. This is not very good pizza. The pasta is passable, but really, not that good. Its alright, certainly have had better. BUT for the neighborhood? In and absolute way this place is a three. In a relative way a two. Like most things in this part of Brooklyn, its good if you happen to be here but don’t go out of your way.

Solid neighborhood pizza joint. Great thinnish crust, excellent sauce, and no ridiculous amount of cheese. Prices start at $ 10 for a(quite) large cheese pie and top out around 17 bucks for the works. Also, $ 2 slices and some neighborhood Caribbean specialties(beef patty, etc.) Word of advice(or forewarning): the«Gino’s Special» includes among its 8 toppings spinach and broccoli. Not terrible, but not exactly what I expected on a pizza with the works!
