Bad customer service. Appointment was 15 minutes late and then at the end of my massage she basically hustled me to pay cash and when I didn’t have cash she charged me $ 10 extra for tax for the credit card. Then she hustled me for a tip. Very unhappy. Would not recommend. She was running the front desk while giving massages. Cutting corners too much. Would not return.

Just got waxed and it was a very pleasant peaceful experience! Can’t wait to go back :) polite and professional. Thanks H2O!

I was feeling so sore and tired from lack of sleep and muscle aches. So after work, I Unilocaled to see the closely massage place near my work place. Amongst the Unilocal reviews, this place came up and was close by so I gave it a try. This is a Chinese family run massage/​spa place. I opted for the 1 hour Swedish massage, verses the deep tissue as the young lady masseuse said the deep tissue uses more pressure as oppose to the Swedish massage. Having experience from a different massage place, I know I don’t really like deep, strong pressure massage as I get sore from the massage the next day. However, after trying the Swedish massage here, I think I should had opted for the deep tissue massage as I still feel tired and tensed. This place charges $ 60/​hr for the Swedish massage and $ 70/​hr for the deep tissue massage. I was charged $ 64 and I gave $ 10 tips, so totalled $ 74.
This was not the best massage I ever had. In fact my boyfriend massages a lot better. Not sure where he learned it from thou. At this place, they do both front and back massage. First time experiencing that, which I thought was strange but I just went with the flow.
Bottom line is, having a massage is better than not having one. Spent half my day’s salary on this place. But heck, I truly needed a massage. Otherwise, I am not sure how I would make it till tomorrow. But would I go back to this place again, probably not as the masseuse just doesn’t have the effective techniques nor the strength to give me the type of massage I need.
I used to work at a spa/​massage place so I know the difference between a great massage and a passable one. This was just passable and didn’t leave a lasting impression. I think I will pay my bf to massage me instead.

Just got an amazing deep tissue massage and facial here today. The were an hour each and boy do I feel amazing. They took me immediately, were very professional, attentive and put heart into their work. The massage was easily the best I’ve ever had in my life and I am absolutely glowing after my facial. I will definitely be back!

Went there this morning for a couples massage (1 hour deep tissue). It’s small, clean, calm, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The staff was great and I really enjoyed the massage, the price is super-​fair, and we’ll definitely be going back!

BEST MASSAGE IN LIFE!!! After my favorite masseuse in Williamsburg left the country, I’ve been tirelessly searching for someone to take his place only to be disappointed again and again. I’ve seriously tried everywhere from cheap Chinatown spots, to Massage Envy chains, to upscale spas, only to mark each one on my list as a «do not return.» Until… I walked into H2O and met Nana! Her 90 minute massage absolutely blew me away! If you’re looking for an exceptional masseuse Nana is out of this world! The place is super clean and calming, and the staff is friendly as well as attentive. #1 spot in NY on my list!!!

Had a great body scrub and massage from Ying. Really nice technique and relaxed rhythm. Private rooms, good atmosphere – it’s a big step up from the typical tui-​na joint without being a whole lot more expensive. Highly recommended!

Thanks to BQE traffic my friend and I missed our appointment at another place nearby. The ladies at H2O had immediate availability and were right around the corner. The place is brand new, and super clean. Our hourlong massage was amazing, especially the face/​head portion. My only negative is that it was a little chilly, but then again I’m always cold :)

Great local spa. I tried this place once when my regular place was booked up and I have to say, I was really impressed. Spotlessly clean, attentive staff and well priced. Amy is an exceptional masseuse. Her 90 minute massage untied my knotted shoulder and left me energised.
