Coffee was a non-negotiable for the day, but I was in this area picking up a friend and wanted to be adventurous trying out the local options in a so-not-Yelpy area. Ordered an egg and cheese on a roll and black coffee one sugar. First off, the coffee I ended up with had milk though I really tried this time to be clear I wanted black. Ugh. Second, the total bill came to $ 4.50 before tax: $ 3.00 for the sandwich and $ 1.25 for the mistaken coffee. That’s steep if you ask me since I can get bacon, egg, cheese on a bagel for as low as $ 3.25. And all small coffees from street delis like this should never be more than $ 1. In Chinatown they’re less! I’ll admit that the bread they used for the roll was tastier than expected. I don’t remember the guy toasting it, but it came out rather chewy and crispy and didn’t fall apart in my hand. Whatever the verdict, it was a one time experiment that I’m unlikely to repeat since I’m rarely ever over here.

I had some time to kill before I hopped on the train and found this deli. I didn’t have time to make myself breakfast so I decided to take it to go. I got a BLT and it hit the spot. Bacon was crispy, eggs runny how I liked them and best of all it was fairly inexpensive with a cup of coffee. I will come here again the next time I don’t have time to make myself breakfast.

Went here yesterday, first impression review. The place from the outside looks like a typical Brooklyn bodega, but once inside you will find a very clean deli that smells great. The food looks delicious and the choices are endless. The staff are all polite and helpful and the coffee is great. The main reason for the visit was coffee. Its hard to find a decent tasting place in the area, but the search is over. I will update with a food review shortly.

$ 5 for small coffee, two eggs sunny side, three strips of bacon, two buttered pieces of toast. Wait am I missing something here? They didn’t ring me up right that’s for sure. But I enjoyed what they made me none the less. There was a lot of options on the menu so I guess I was alittle confused when ordering.
