If I open my own store one day, it would look something like Homecoming. Flowers, plants, chocolate, skincare, magazines, donuts, and coffee? What’s not to like? They carry Compartes, soul sunday, and nice jewelry.

Blue Bottle coffee and Dough donuts under the same roof with a bunch of cool plants and knick knacks all around! Need I say more? I wish I lived next door to this place so I could go here every morning.

Very fun, cool concept store. They have tons of adorable gift items in addition to gorgeous blooms and of course coffee(complete with Dough doughnuts!). I put together a bouquet for a friend I was visits that afternoon and was clear about my budget. The staff person helped me assemble it and quoted one price, which all of a sudden ended up being about $ 4 more once rung up. I guess because of tax? Who knows. It was unexpected for sure. When I left I was bummed because saw they had precut bouquets in mason jars for only $ 20. I wish I had gone that route since I would have had much more bang for my buck! I’ve also had coffee from here a few times and enjoyed it. I suppose they just moved over to Sightglass coffee which I had in SF a few times and really enjoyed, so was happy to see that. I think they may be one of the only places in NYC what serve or! This alone is worth a visit!

The store is beautifully curated café, flower shop, and ceramics but the staff here is sort of unwelcoming. Every time i’m there is no warm greeting and staff actually seem bothered if you have a question or interrupt their personal conversation/whispering. I want to like this place for its atmosphere but just wish for better customer service.

Cute store with great atmosphere but nothing– NOTHING– irritates me more than to walk into a store and receive absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff. I was in there for several minutes with not a single«hello» or «let me know if you need anything.» Instead, the two folks behind the counter carried on with their conversation and said bye when I went to leave.

Beautiful store, beautiful plants, delicious blue bottle coffee. We came in for both plants and coffee and our barista was able to give us tips on care for for the two low light plants we selected. Something about being surrounded by green growing things is really nice. Can’t wait to visit again!

Delightful little spot — with good independent art magazines, blue bottle coffee, and flowers. Personable service. True Gem.

I love Homecoming. I usually stop in before work or during the day for an afternoon pick-me-up. They’re a lovely little neighborhood florist and coffee shop that offers everything from the cutest little plants to Dough Donuts and soy chai lattes. Mega yum. Service is friendly and quick. They also have this awesome loyalty program that helps you earn free treats and drinks(not that I need free food in my life, but you know, it’s still nice). I really love their floral arrangements, and sometimes buy a bouquet here just because. There’s not much in the way of seating, but there is a bench or two outside that’s nice for warmer days. Speaking of warmer days, their iced coffee is top notch. If you need to grab a quick gift(plant, artisan chocolates, planters, other cute things) or a quick latte, stop in to Homecoming! You’ll feel right at home. ;)

I’m really happy this exists. Walking into a unique florist/coffee shop hybrid caught me by surprise upon my first experience here, I think to the extent that I may have scared the baristas a bit with my enthusiasm. My second time here I brought a close friend and we bought a cabbage flower and tea. I was calmer and so was the barista. It was a cute experience that has made Homecoming sort of sentimental to me, so please do come, bring a friend and buy a flower at this lovely place. Be sweet to the barista because life is hard when people are trying to come in and steal your aesthetic or whatever.

The coffee is great. The baristas are sweet. The music is always awesome. The plants make me happy. Go get a chai from Jacob. Lauren and Casey are lovely as well.

Nice, modern, well-designed coffee shop with a florist/gift shop integrated in the space. Really wanted to like the place, but the employees act like giving them business is ruining their day. No smile, no professionalism, no friendly expressions. I asked the difference between their teas and she just pointed angrily at the list. Also, their pastry case was empty(it was 1p when I was in there) and when another customer asked about pastries, the snotty lady at the counter shrugged her shoulders and said, «What’s there, is there.» All of the below reviews are true with overpriced everything too– I paid four dollars for a basic black tea that tastes like toilet cleaner. Thanks, but no thanks.

Don’t waste your time or money. $ 4 for what is essentially garbage water is beyond me. Order an iced coffee… if it doesn’t taste like drinking moldy coffee secreted from a heroine addicts urine, more power to you. This is the 2nd time I’ve had their sludge and even though I despise Starbucks, I’d rather wait in a line of Ugg wearing girls who can’t wait to get their pumpkin latte fix. If I could rate negative stars I would.

Love spending my mornings at Homecoming! Vince, Casey and Vanessa are the best! It’s so lovely having a spot in the neighborhood to grab some coffee and baked goods where everyone knows your name. Their plant selection is so wonderful and they are all super easy to take care of. I can barely walk out of the store without a new little one for my apartment. The most amazing part about Homecoming is they are always introducing me to new makers and artists. Their selection of ceramic, home goods and indie lifestyle magazines is very unique to the neighborhood and a great place to pick up a great gift for so many occasions. Cannot recommend Homecoming enough! :)

Yes, the flower arangements are nice, but WAY overpriced. There is a much better flower shop right on Manhattan ave with more reasonable prices, and the coffee around the corner at Ovenly is so much better. Also I prefer to spend my money at an establishment that treats me nicely. Today when I walked in, I said hello twice to the hipster behind the counter and he just stared at me silently, which is more than can be said for the young lady in charge of the flower section who didn’t even bother to look up at me from behind her computer screen. Seriously? I won’t be coming back, until the owners get some friendly employees who understand the meaning of good service.

I love the atmosphere here! Beautifully curated plants and flowers. Came on a Saturday early afternoon with a friend to catch up. People were mulling around the shop and we got prime seating on the wooden bench. There was a constant flow of people but never in an overwhelming way that made you feel you had to rush to finish because there aren’t many seats. The coffee was delicious! I loved that you could pic flowers and mix and march your own bouquet. Also, all the ceramic wall hangers are on my list of things to buy soon. Great concept of a coffee shop!

I said to my partner that I’m leaving a review on this place because it’s amazing, and she was like«what, it was AMAZING??» — because I’m really stingy with my compliments. And this store I really found amazing! Little space filled with adorableness, variety of pretty succulents and pots, and the two guys there were really helpful and friendly yet kept their distance and gave me some space for browsing without stepping on their toes.

I really can’t express how good this little gem of a shop has made me feel, basically in every way possible. But, I’ll try anyway. The entire staff(Vince, Ashley, Rob, and even their trainee Gabe!) made me feel like I was part of an ensemble cast for Cheers of the 21st century or something– they all learned my name, treated me like a favorite regular, and were SO accommodating went I let my coffee get cold and they steamed it back to life for me. I’m spoiled. That would be enough already, but the physical space is so charming too that it really must be mentioned. The café-cum-botanical-mecca is full of lovingly arranged flowers, plants, and succulents of all kinds, housed in on and around beautiful custom woodwork. Sonically, the music is the perfect volume and tone, and the baristas asked me what I wanted to hear, played my favorite band when I requested it, and barely made fun of my music taste at all, which is really saying something. Everyone that came in and out was treated with care and attention and made to feel truly appreciated and part of the family. What a treat. AND apparently they are just now starting to serve chai, which they allowed me to sample in both«dirty» and«clean» formats, and it was perfectly creamy, sweet, and spicy, so I would highly recommend it. When you go, look out for a strange internet celebrity called«Gordon.» He will definitely dance for you, show you videos of himself from the year 2010, and do a crossword puzzle with you if you stick around long enough. Suffice it to say that I would give Spina 6 stars if I could, and I would buy a plant from them if I didn’t kill everything I touch.

This store is a joy. Whether you’re looking for a great cup of coffee or flowers(or succulents, or hanging dried flowers!). It’s just a lovely space, well worth visiting.
