Not sure why all the negative reviews for this place, perhaps some deserved the way they were treated? I’ve been going here for years and received nothing but awesome service, starting with the doctor exam. It’s a family owned business and it shows, they want you to be happy with the purchase you make and go out of their way to ensure it. Give them a try you won’t regret it. P. S. They also have a great selection of frames.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Trust the other reviewers and DONOTGOHERE. They are lying, cheating scammers who care nothing about your health, but only about robbing you of your preciously earned money. Nothing but a bunch of shady people with shoddy products and wretched service. A few of my personal highlights: the doctor was eating her lunch during my appointment, I was forced to wait for hours in the scummy waiting room, the contact solution I was given to use expired in 2011, I was sold a defective pair of ‘designer’ frames, the staff yelled in my face, and that was only the beginning. Keep your sanity, stay far from here.

I had a great experience. The doctor was on point, I didn’t have to wait long. I got my prescription… And on to the«frame choosing» part… Now…I can be very annoying and picky at times lol, add my Brother to the mix and that’s it we can agree and disagree on things for hours… the sales people were very nice and surprisingly patient, «we» drove them nuts with asking to try on a million different pairs of glasses and all we received were great suggestions and opinions… everyone was extremely helpful. Long story short… Love my new glasses! «I chose a funky cat eye Gucci pair» price was«just right» for my pocket and You bet I’ll definitely be returning soon…

The doctor service was neither good nor bad though I didn’t like the people attitude at the front desk. When I got my glasses they were ok however I could see better with my old. I called saying that they told me to bring them back, I said to myself not worth it, only 50 dollars wasted. Within a year later broke my favorite glasses and started wearing the ones they did. I went to o another eye doctor. He said they had my prescription confused my glass for my right was where my left was and the left eye was were the right eye. I could perhaps had this fixes if I listed however I don’t ever want to see them again

These were just my experiences with it. After the fourth red flag, I bailed. Red Flag #1: I wanted to take my prescription with me so that I could buy frames from online in the future, but every time I asked if this was possible, the guy would mumble a half-verbal yes and turn away from me, as if he didn’t want to be caught on the record saying yes. Red Flag #2: There was a salesman in the front of the store who was doing a weird hard sale on a customer, reciting bullet points like he was trying to sell a used car. I don’t want that kind of sales pressure when trying on frames. Red Flag #3: A couple came in and asked for a pair of glasses to be adjusted, and the man said, «Did you buy them here?» They said no, they got them overseas, and the owner said he wouldn’t adjust them. As the couple started to leave they said something about how they had been customers here before, just not with this pair of glasses, and the owner caught them before they left and suddenly was very helpful and agreed to adjust them. He said to them that the reason he says no is because he can’t be held responsible if he breaks the frames, which is an excuse I’ve never heard in the nearly 30 years I’ve owned eyeglasses. Red Flag #4: I was told via voice mail the day before not to be late, which I thought was a little condescending but whatever. Still, even though I got there a few minutes early, I was put in a waiting room where one woman had been waiting for 30 – 40 minutes. I watched the owner dismissively shoot down her complaints when he came back to deposit another customer among us. At that point, I pulled up Unilocal and read Heather G’s review below about being charged an extra fee to take her prescription, and I realized I’d made a bad choice.

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! The people that are working here can barely speak English. They led to me to believe that they were putting the exam through my insurance and then seriously overcharged me. When I called my insurance providers they explained that they never put in the claim. They called me a liar, etc — so rude! When I called back to fix the problem with my insurance it turned into a screaming match that continued over the next two days with phone calls back and forth. I had the information in a document from my insurance provider that outlined the discount I was supposed to receive on my contacts and I offered to fax them them the form but they INSISTED that I was wrong even then. Total idiots. With that being said, I would rather just take the money loss to never have to deal with these people again. They are a headache and they will rip you off 100%. I wouldn’t even give them one star if that was an option.
