I need to go back here. So the french toast app is so good it’s like a meal to me but the breakfast burger is so dang good i want it now

I stumbled upon this place for Brunch. I am happy I did :) Its a cute little restaurant with nice outdoor patio in the back. its has a low key vibe and they dont give you menus everything is written on a giant chalk board on the wall. There can be a wait so just a warning. My favorite thing was the $ 10 bottomless mimosa’s. they dont give you a flimsy little champagne flute, they give you a water glass that they fill regularly. the mimosa’s were great(not the best I have had, but for the price and quantity they were well worth it). The food: everything we had was great. I loved my egg in nest(which was made with a grilled cheese sandwich, yum) and came with a side salad. I also loved their french fries. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch! try to sit out back if you can.

I came here a while ago & this place is pretty cool! It’s not the largest restaurant but it’s very cute and inside. I was having a «catch up» brunch with a friend and we were able to get two seats at the bar. The music or restaurant wasn’t too loud so we were also able to actually catch up over good conversation. Of course we opted for the unlimited mimosas which were delicious and constantly flowing. Our meals were good but the French toast bites? Awesome idea because the jelly cream cheese dipping sauce made the bites 30x better!

I live across the street, so while everyone else freaks out about trying to get a table, I just wander over whenever. Yes, it’s nearly impossible to get a table without a wait at brunch. And yes, service can be spotty, either cause it’s swamped or the bartender is doing double duty, but that’s what you’re signing up for. It’s a pub, and it means it. The burger specials and the steak frittes are awesome. They are very reliable — more than most places, about cooking meat the way you want it cooked. Reliable vegetarian options. And it serves til 4am in a part of Brooklyn with pretty much nothing else comparable. Food is very rich(duck or bacon fat in everything? pretty much) and generously salted. Warning for open mic nights on Sundays — sometimes live music(good), sometimes comedy(very spotty)

A hole in the wall spot that will surprise you for sure. I came with my parents and we sat in the backyard, it was really nice. Ordered the chicken and waffles, waffle burger, and French toast bites and all were really delicious. Bottomless mimosas for $ 10, can’t beat that! My mom ordered a bottomless bloody Mary but because there was a delay in the refill they didn’t charge us for it. That to me equals awesome service.

We most likely won’t return to this spot. We were highly disappointed with Saturday brunch service. The food was good but we found a hair in our Mac and Cheese. Servers were slow and inattentive. I understand this is casual dining at a casual pace, maybe they were short a person but a few basic things are inexcusable. Hair in food is simply gross. They clearly aren’t using gloves. We asked for our check twice. On the second time around, while the server had other checks in her hand, she cleared a partial table before getting to ours. I get it saves you a few steps but this is the second time I’m asking for a check after I asked while my plates were being cleared. Service is slow. I see them moving around but you need more people. Our two top was $ 67 so each person’s check is averaging $ 30+ and tip on top. As soon as we sat down, we waited to receive menus only to find that it’s posted on a board across the patio when the waiter asked us for our order. Bring glasses to see this smudged painted board and the size 20 font descriptions from 20 feet away. We sat outdoors, there were some noisy kids. Otherwise it was nice. I ordered the steak and eggs medium. It’s a skirt steak(a cheaper more fatty cut than if you’re expected sirloin) with eggs and some cut up cubed French fries. For the price, I expected more but ok. The burger was fine too, nothing crazy. We found the hair in Mac and cheese balls. How appropriate. It was worked into the macaroni so it was from whoever prepares them. Overall it was disappointing. $ 10 for unlimited wycliff mimosas, hair in food, and slow service for $ 67 for two people. We’ll travel deeper into park slope next time for more options.

Great experience here! The space is nice, very«modern Brooklyn» Edison bulbs type of joint but it’s the friendly staff that sets it apart from plenty of other similar restaurants in the area. Our waitress was very nice, something we hadn’t experienced at another burger spot down the street that led us to walking in here on a whim. The burgers were absolutely stellar — I got the lamb burger with tzatziki sauce, my girlfriend got the house burger with jalapeño cream cheese, both delicious. Not cheap, but I really believe the organic, grass fed meat is the better option that you can taste the difference in from bite one, and that’s something you shouldn’t skimp on just because it costs a little more. Fully worth it, this is a nice little hang that we’d be happy to have a beer in their backyard patio space on a night it’s not raining.

We went there in a gloomy raining Saturday. It’s already packed. Good biz Sitting there for a while without menu offered then we realized they have a chalk board with all stuff they have. Very inconvenient to read it coz of my seat position. Food was delish, I ordered something called core? Couldn’t read the menu easily, just ordered whatever I saw on a picture in Unilocal.Forgot exactly what it called and there’s no menu pics with the one I ordered, so… It’s potato cubes, pancakes with gravy, sides of salad. It’s tasty but definitely not healthy dish, curbs with curbs on ur dish? Nahhhh The restaurant was small and with many ppl waiting there, coz of raining day? Plus the music was bit loud. We just had a quick meal and left.

We got the fried chicken and waffles, and the burger special. Food was average and nothing spectacular. The atmosphere seems pretty chill but that’s about it. I really wanted to like this place. Prices are pretty high for what you get, and when I went a few months ago, it was cash only. I heard they now accept cards, so that’s good.

Went with 3 other friends for the first time for the unlimited brunch on a Sunday. As a BK native, I love keeping things local. SERVICE: My boyfriend and I waited 15 mins to simply get our names on the seating list. There was only 1 waitress and 1 bartender for the restaurant and the bartender was writing the names(no hostess). She looked at us a number of times and completely ignored us for a full 15mins. Upon being seated by the waitress, the bartender walks over asking us for the rest of our party as only 2 of us were there. She said they don’t normally seat people without the full party(which is understandable but why seat us in the first place). She pestered us about when they would arrive — almost as if she wanted us to get up. All in all the bartender was super rude. FOOD: The unlimited brunch drinks are only for an hour and a half. I had the mac and cheese balls to start, which tasted fine. It’s simply deep fried Kraft mac and cheese. Nothing special. My boyfriend and his friends order the chicken and waffles for the main course. One person received the chicken under cooked — RED and BLOODY. My boyfriend became sick after his. I had the breakfast burger. I asked for it to be well done. It came back medium; which is fine, I will eat a medium burger. But the burger bun had HAIR cooked into the bun. Absolutely disgusting!!! I wanted to flip but instead, in my calmest voice, I showed the waitress and they took it off the bill. DECOR: Cute but small. Very loud during brunch. I will not be returning.

To start — this place is TINY and they do not take reservations. Good luck. All the tables are almost touching — the bar takes up most of the room. It was so loud that my friend and I could barley have a conversation. Not loud like«oh it’s brunch we are all talking!» I mean LOUD. Very loud. My friend and I love brunch, like every other normal person. She got the $ 10 unlimited mimosas and I went with the 1911 cider — both were yummy. The menu is on the wall… I had a hard time reading the descriptions. Uhg. We both got the waffle burger with potatoes. The burger was actually very tasty. The egg was fine & so was the cheese. However, the real test was when I took a bite of just the waffle — it had absolutely no flavor :/which was super disappointing. Overall, it was a decent meal. I was just wishing for some more flavor. The service was a little lacking, too. I may come back… but probably not. My bill came to almost $ 25.

Both Dinner and Brunch at this quaint neighborhood establishment in South Slope is quiet the treat! Brunch is much busier then dinner time. The wait for dinner is an average of 25 mins., while I’ve never waited for a table or seat at the bar on weeknights. The Bloody Mary is served on a tall glass — it’s a bit spicy and tasty. The poutine(Canadian French fries dish) is perfect for sharing. The chicken and waffles is flavorful and the steak and fries for dinner will not disappoint!

YUM. I came in for brunch on Sunday, the place is VERY small so naturally we had to wait for a table, but the servers were super nice and took our number so we could go get a drink or a coffee somewhere else while we waited. It was totally worth the wait. We were all having a bad day and a little hungover, so we went SORTOFCRAZY with ordering food. — French Toast Bites are CRACK. They were SOGOOD and the perfect amount of crunch, sugar, and butter. You MUST get these. — The mac and cheese balls were 4⁄5 stars good — they didn’t have as much flavor we I would have liked, BUT they were HUGE and you got like 6 of them. And they were shaped and cooked well. — SIDEOFBACON: Okay, $ 5 for 3 slices is a bit steep, but they were nice, meaty slabs. — Waffle Burger: my friend got this and really enjoyed it, thought it had to be knife and forked, so it was not as practical as you might have though. — Chicken and Waffles: BF got this, it came with white gravy, which I LOVED but he is not a fan of. But the chicken was crisp and the waffles were solid. — Biscuits and Gravy: I got this: YUMM. The potatoes are ONPOINT, the biscuit was good, nice thick white gravy and 2 eggs over easy. The only thing I did not like was the bloody mary. It tasted like sweet and sour sauce to me and was a pink color and very chunky. I didn’t even finish half of it. I guess this might be good to some people, but I like mine spicy and savory. The beer select was good though. In short, as my boyfriend said: I want to come back and eat here every single day.

Service is nothing to write home about(maybe because we came here right at the beginning of the brunch rush) but food was pretty great! I got the tostadas special, which was super flavorful and filling.

I loved brunch here, and apparently so does the rest of Brooklyn because there’s almost always a wait. Luckily, when we went there happened to be an open table, otherwise you have to wait outside. My husband ordered the waffle burger. His only complaint was that the waffle wasn’t as warm as he would have liked, but it was delicious. He loved that the coffee came in an individual French press. I was very pleased with my veggie burger. I appreciated that they allowed for substitutions as well. I was able to get mixed greens on the side instead of home fries without an up charge. We’ll be back for sure.

I was excited to try this spot when I moved into the neighborhood, so my girlfriend and I decided the iffy Brooklyn-y prices were fine for a day and we’d check it out. Our coffee was cold twice and the service was really slow. The food was nowhere near good enough to justify the price. The ambiance was generally chaotic too: weird chalkboard menu thing and really cramped. Not to mention the clientele all seemed to arrive on a bus from posh-hipster USA, seriously some dude was sitting at a table of 8 and yelling while he looked at two phones at the same time. They were playing daft punk circa ’98 and some other weird Euro-pop. If you want to eat burnt waffles and drink cold coffee in a nightclub environment during the day on a Sunday this is def your spot.

I had been looking forward to drying this place for months. I actually planned my birthday brunch there, but learned that they don’t accept reservations for brunch, and it would have been ridiculous to have 9 people waiting outside hoping for a table. I was finally able to go yesterday with a friend. I was tremendously disappointed. First, we arrived a few minutes before 1. There was an empty table that was«reserved» for a party of 4.(Remember, my previous conversation with the restaurant informed me that they don’t accept reservations for brunch. First come, first served only.) The hostess/bartender insisted that the party was there and had put their names on the list. Absolute malarkey, since the restaurant is only yea big. I’m sure I would have seen a party waiting for a table. She also told my friend and I that they didn’t want to separate the table(two 2-seaters pushed together) because it would be «uncomfortable for the servers to serve because of the tight quarters». Um, what? If it’s a tight fit for 2, how the heck is it comfortable for 4? After about 20 minutes, the party of 4 arrived on the bus… as in they were not waiting for the table with their name on the list as our hostess suggested. As in not first come, first served. When we were finally seated– around 1:45, we learned that they had no written menus. You had to look at the chalk board on the opposite end of the restaurant to figure out what you wanted. Again, what? Anyway, my friend and I both had the chicken and waffles, mine with gravy on the side, hers with no gravy(it’s made with pork sausage). The chicken was tolerable, but by no means delicious. It was dry and flavorless without the gravy. My friend, who doesn’t eat pork, ended up having a side of gravy hoping to avoid the pork bits just to give the chicken some flavor. I loaded each bite with syrup and gravy to make it halfway decent. I left completely unsatisfied. They serve unlimited mimosas for $ 10, but I had no desire to spend any extra time or money in the establishment, so I opted to forego bottomless brunch. In hindsight, I’m extraordinarily glad that they didn’t accept my reservation for my birthday brunch. Two disappointed patrons is a hell of a lot better than nine. I won’t be back.

Amazing. Everything we got was amazing. We went here for the all you can drink brunch which also probably assisted our tastebuds. My friends had the biscuits and gravy and bacon and eggs sammy while I had the squash sammy. I personally thought mine was the best especially for a vegetarian breakfast item. We also got the biscuits for the table and I loved the assortment of jams. Everything was super filling and flavorful. The place is small and quaint but not busy for a sunday and it had a rustic feel. The food came out on wooden slabs which I thought was a nice touch. They were a little slow on the mimosa refills but that’s probably for the better ;) I’d definitely go back! Cash only though.

I came in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm and they are exactly what I have in mind when I see the word gastropub. The pairings were slightly irregular as I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. I saw the word gravy and assumed that it would be gravy smothered on the chicken next to the waffle. In fact, the gravy was smothered on the entire dish. The same holds true for the breakfast platter dish(who’s name I forget) with the pancakes which my friend ordered. Personally I really like the flavor and slightly thick and meaty texture of the gravy and it paired(to my surprise) nicely with the slight sweetness of the waffles. To top it off, I decided to put a little syrup on top as well and this really set the meal off. It was great. The chicken consists of a white meat breast piece, a drumstick and a thigh. My friend had the pancake dish which as I mentioned was smothered in gravy, but the fried potatoes, which sat cut into small cubes that plated nicely but were hard to fork, leaving one to do a lot of scooping without a spoon, were not covered. Again, the slight sweetness paired nicely but she wasn’t a fan. I ate half of it. The gravy, which she did like, was better on the potatoes in her opinion. I liked it, personally. Finally brunch would not be complete without bottomless mimosas. $ 10 is a good deal for unlimited drinking for 90 minutes I believe it was. I feel like we were there longer, and they weren’t stingy with the pours. They were nice sized glasses so you’re not waiting on refills every 2 minutes. We sat on the back patio which is covered by a mesh screen to keep the leaves and random crap falling from the trees. The sun still shines in brightly so if you want to tan in the summer, knock yourself out. This is a great spot for hearty food pairings and if you like it slightly experimental, indulge…

I went here for brunch on a Sunday around 1 pm. It only took ten minutes to be seated for two and the first thing the bartender did was take our $ 10 bottomless mimosas order and start pouring. The champaign they used wasn’t shitty and they fill the hole glad up and add just a splash of OJ. My standards for bacon, egg, & cheese are very high and theirs is among the top 3 I’ve ever had. The bacon is premium slab — I ordered a separate side. We had pretzel bites which were buttery and crispy and my friend had the waffle burger which liked amazing. They make a point to source food seasonally and locally when possible and I appreciate that. The bar tenders were nice and attentive ams the mimosas just kept coming. We sat for hours and never felt rushed. I had a great time and will be going back.
