This is one of the worse rheumatologist out here if not the worse. He kept me on prednisone for a year without adding a Rheumatoid Arthritis medication that would better control my condition. When he finally decided it was time to add something he insisted I take methotrexate even though I expressed concerns about being of child bearing years. I asked about Humira and he said «Humira is the medication that would harm your unborn fetus not methotrexate» he really said that even though I know it’s the other way around. I stopped going to him, I smelled Quack all over this Dr. and you know if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck. When I got to my new Dr. I found out I had so much joint damage and osteoarthritis because of his delayed reaction with my treatment.
The moral of the story is if you have Rheumatoid Arthritis action has to be taken swiftly to control the progression of this disease and stop joint damage. I didn’t know what rheumatoid arthritis was when I went to this doctor and he never really explained it to me, I didn’t know the severity of what this disease could do to me, and unfortunately I found out the hard way thanks to this Dr. s’ incompetence.
