KFC

The food is way to greasy and taste like the chicken is on steroids. I won’t eat any Kfc and if I do decide to eat fried chicken I would go to Popeyes. I was so sick after eating it.

The food is always great. Staff is very nice but what happened to the CLEANLINESS? Maybe more employees are needed? It is surprising for me since I have been to other locations that seem freshly painted and done up well. I also noticed that in this particular location, it has turned out to be a hangout for some that makes you feel uncomfortable to stay. So as far as the food is concerned I give it a thumbs up. Never a problem. The deals remain great but I TAKE OUT because it just isn’t comfortable for me to stay there and eat. Sorry but someone has to take notice of these things. It is FIXABLE now — I don’t know about later!

My mom who is a senior citizen went to this KFC and received the incorrect order unfortunately she was unable to walk back to the store. Maybe if the person putting the order together would not have been on his cell phone and was paying attention he would have gotten the order right

This place is good. Recommend the $ 5 fill up. Love the mashed potatoes. The place is not that clean and they play bad music.

My five star rating is purely based on their customer service on one particular employee. Tonight, my friend and I went into this KFC to pick up a quick bite to eat and we were helped by a kind gentleman named Joseph. He was extremely nice and soft spoken. He very patiently and politely answered any of our questions, and don’t get me wrong, being in customer service myself, I am fully aware that that is their job to do so, but just the fact that he was so nice from start to finish was really refreshing. He introduced himself and asked us how we were, engaged in some small talk and I really just thought he was a genuinely nice person. After he took our order, he then took another gentleman’s order and again, was extremely nice. As soon as he finished taking the mans order he quickly ran to the back, washed his hands and began preparing the orders. I noticed nobody was with him for a few minutes and I felt really bad thinking he was alone and had to do everything by himself. But then a female came from somewhere in the back, washed her hands as well and started helping Joseph with the orders. When the gentleman who ordered after me politely asked if he could switch one of his mashed potatoes for a mac and cheese, this is how their conversation went:
Customer: Excuse me Ma’am would I be able to switch out one of my mashed potatoes for a mac and cheese instead?
KFC Employee: What’s your order?
Customer reads her the order number
KFC Employee: :she begins reading him his order: (when she reread him his order she had read it to him as if she already changed the mashed potatoes to the mac and cheese which he obviously didn’t know)
Customer: Yes, But I had two mashed potatoes so I’d just like to change one for the mac and cheese.
KFC Employee: Yeah that’s what I’m saying.
Customer: Oh, Ok. Yes. Thank You.
KFC Employee: :shakes head:
This girl didn’t even look at him half the time she was talking to him and she had an attitude and the customer STILL thanked her after he CLEARLY shouldn’t have and she doesn’t even verbally say «You’re Welcome». She just shakes her head. I then had to watch her reprimand Joseph as if he was of no help to her at all. «Come on Joseph. You’re too slow. Hurry up and take orders. So slow.» I was in shock. She was in a black shirt as apposed to Josephs’ red shirt so I don’t know if that means she was his supervisor or manager, but if she is, that KFC should really consider finding her a replacement. She was so rude to her co-​worker as well as her customers. I know this is just a fast food restaurant and I’m going so hard for this small situation, but like I said earlier, I’m in customer service. I’m a manager for a bakery and I see stuff like this all the time. It’s really unfortunate to see someone as nice as Joseph being treated like that. It was just a really big upset and I hope this KFC branch acknowledges this. 5 stars for Joseph and his excellent customer service!

I been there last three times and try to get the 10pcs dark meat grill chicken, every time, it disappointed me, please just shut it down.

Good place better than popeyes. At least they have a $ 5 deal containing a side dish, a drink, a cookie, and the main order. I remember when they first had a pizza hut here.

I would give them negative star if that is an option. Their seasoning used to be good. Now they don’t taste like KFC anymore. And their service is just cold, not welcoming at all. And I just wonder why they have not closed down yet.

I personally love this KFC resturant. The place is clean, and the people are nice and are quick with ordering and handling customers. The tables and floors are clean and the music they play is amazing, the food is good and reasonable pricing, i would reccomend this place to everyone, their rating is good, and its a good place too go and relax and eat with family and friends, i personally love chicken and i am their eating almost every day!

there were no covers or straws for my soda, and the floors and tables were disgusting.

Use to be better. The biscuits taste bland and chicken was overcooked.

Been to this KFC a few times. I expected the worst when reading reviews from here but then again, the reviews are a year or two old.
They are open late and do have nice staff. Chicken good.

To Joolie: yes, pretty much everything here on 18^th is grimey, with the exception of a few small-​business restaurants. That’s why cooking is a necessary trait here. That said, pubic hair in a friend’s popcorn chicken!!! I think that’s enough to serve as a public service advisory about this place.

I have to agree, this KFC is unusually bleak.
Not as argumentative as the one on 4^th down by Costco.
Not as slow as the one on 5^th near 52^nd Street.
But like at the McDonald’s on 9^th Street near 4^th Ave. in Park Slope, the seats here seem to fill up with lost-​looking senior citizens.
If you were 90, wouldn’t you pick somewhere a bit cleaner?

Yep, it’s pretty awful, even for a KFC. They used to give you a free biscuit if your order took too long, and at first I thought it was nice, but then I realized that KFC biscuits really, really suck.
Admittedly, I’ve haven’t been here ever since I found out an old friend’s mom worked there.
«Hey, you’re my son’s friend, right?»
«Urhm. no speak the English?»
That doesn’t work when your friend’s mom already knows who you are and you’re both Chinese. What was I thinking?

is it me… or is everything in bensonhurst/​18^th street just plain grimey? i swear… every Unilocal review i have about places located in this area has been completely awful.
KFC– i already dislike this place with a passion… but when my roommates had a craving for some mashed potatoes– i agreed to pick some up after i plugged away for hours at the Starbucks across the street. the stench of fried chicken parts linger all over the streets. sometimes i have to hold my breath as i try to make orders. so many sketchy people lurk around at that location… i see them in there all the time.
the employees lack knowledge about simple meal deals, cannot add without a calculator (it’s $ 6.58 you idiot!), and have an ugly attitude. i couldn’t stand the cashier’s monstrous long nails tapping on the counter and her snickering at me because i wanted to glance at the menu. i even let others go in front of me! never will i go back there again nor do i have the desire to ever go to another KFC!
