I hate working out… now that that’s out of the way, I must say that I have never gotten a better workout than when taking Carol’s kickboxing class. YOUWILLSWEATANDYOUWILLSEERESULTS! In your strength and the look of your body. I started unable to do 10 pushup(correctly, with straight legs) and within a few weeks could do 30 without quitting. I saw muscles becoming more defined in my biceps, back, and legs. My midsection also slimmed down which was my goal. This is a class you will have to work hard in as Carol is a trained black belt in hapkido and wants you to push yourself further so that you are punching and kicking precisely and with power because self-defense is incorporated into each class. Also, in typical bootcamp style, Carol is tough about proper form when punching, stance etc but it’s all to avoid injury. I recommend this class highly! Also, I travel from Harlem to Brooklyn on Saturdays by train(a nightmare most weekends) just to attend this class.

Carol is amazing — as a trainer she pushes you to your limit. Her energy and focus demands nothing but the best from her students. Carol put me on the track to a healthy lifestyle and consistent workouts. She inspired me to start practicing Martial Arts four years ago. I attribute my gorgeous body to Carol Kick Fever Fitness!

I’ve concluded four private lessons with Carol Glasgow and looking forward to my next set. She is tough but knows her stuff. In just these few weeks I’ve gotten stronger and see my physical progress. She arrives to my home on time and prepared with my exercises along with equipment. She regularly posts fitness info on my Facebook page and checks in on my progress during the week. Her prices are reasonable for in home training and I feel lucky to have her help as I get into shape.

I tried this out through a Groupon deal. I took one class a week ago, but I’m not sure I will be going back. I’ve tried out a lot of martial arts gyms in the city, so I know a good amount about how they’re run and the need to be giving your all during a workout. And hell, I’m going to the class because I want to sweat and hurt the next day — this class definitely did that, and I limped for a few days from the sore muscles. But I felt the instructor was too aggressive and sometimes a bit bullying when we were working out. I am aware my leg isn’t going up as high as you told me to, despite my trying. But you don’t need to yell and reprimand me for it. Honestly? I’ve been working a long day and just want to have a good, productive sweat — why would I want to get scolded at the end of my day? I’ve been in classes where there is great constructive criticism that motivates me to keep going and pushing harder. This did not do the trick for me.

I am a FAN! Yes I am… This is my second class thus far and I have to say I am drenched with sweat in like 10 minutes. «Carol Kick Fever Glasgow» is awesome and she means business. When you attend her class you have to be ready to work — I mean ready to work — LOL! I purchased 8 classes from Groupon — and I am really enjoying it! If you want to lose weight — learn martial arts — in addition to self defense… this is your place. As of my second class — I could kick some one’s ass — with one punch dead in their nose — break it — and one kick in the crutch — LMAO!!! Dont mess with me… hahahahah
