One can certainly feel out of place if they are not Jewish. I came in yesterday with a blue hoody carrying my luggage with me as I was headed to the airport. I received the ultimate staredown predominantly by the hassidic jews also waiting in line to grab a bite but I understand particularly in current times why my middle eastern appearance(though I am Armenian) stirred up so much attention. I didn’t let that stop me from ordering one of the most delicious bagels I’ve ever had. The everything bagel combined with an ample amount of scallion spread was absolute perfection. The eatery itself was organized and clean and I found the area itself quite charming. I actually preferred the small town feel of Midwood over the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my culinary experience here. I live in Las Vegas but if I am ever in the area again, I will certainly return.

Came around 11am on a week way, place was reasonably busy, stand in line to order and you wait at the counter for your food. I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese, it was terrific and a great price! There is only one counter bench to eat at, we were able to get a seat. Cool place.

Probably the best bagels I ever tired. Very convenient and fast. Usually get an everything bagel with cream cheese or lox. Not expensive at all. Recommend this place to anyone who wants the best kosher bagels with any variety of spread you want.

Great bagels my favorite is the everything bagel. As others have mentioned the bagels are made fresh right in front of you and they taste great. I like their wide selection and I enjoy the tuna fish with tomatoes, onions, pickles and mayo. During the summer time they are closed on Sundays in the Avenue J location which sucks but I understand the summer can be slow.

One of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, how a good bagel should feel when you bite into it. I will definitely be coming back to pick up some more

Good, Fresh bagels, they make it fresh right in front of you. I got the whole wheat everything wheat bagels to go. They are great when toasted, solid/crispy top with soft center. Has all the perfect elements of a good NY Style boiled bagel. The wait in line however is long. The workers/owner don’t seem to have a great personality. It’s typical, «what you want» without any greeting of «how are you doing». I’m big on customer service; smile and say HI. I know we live in NYC and it’s hard because of the jerk offs that come in. Also, I’m the type of person to buy a few bagels for relatives or for breakfast the next day. These bagels are not meant to be eaten tomorrow. It was hard as a brick the next morning. I had to get a butcher knife to saw that in half. That being said, it’s a good bagel, if eaten that day and you don’t mind the crowd and pushy get out my store service. Advice: PLEASEMAKEPUMPERNICKELBAGELS! I love those bagels.

While waiting for our 2-hour wait pizza across the street, we went here and ordered smoked salmon in a bagel. We requested to remove the inside to lessen the carb. They use traditionally made bagel. That means hard crust and it seems unleavened. My sandwich was good. The rest of the things they sell is standard deli items. We ate by the window. There are no regular chairs here.

Bagels are absolutely delicious. Every time I come here I order a bagel with scallion cream cheese and a tomato. It is SO good. One of the best bagels that I have ever eaten. The only thing that they could improve upon is their toasting service later in the evening-they say that they are open until 7 pm, but they will only toast your bagel until 5:30 pm or 6 pm. If I return from work at 6:30 pm or 7 pm they will not toast my bagel, so I can only come here if I can manage to get here before 6 pm. Still, since they have the best bagels around I come here more than anywhere else!

Really good bagel. Consistent product. The eggs and cheese are somehow better than a typical bagel place. Flavored cream cheese is hit or miss. Coffee is decent but not anything to stop by for without getting food. The staff all seems nice, and they work fast.

I called upon the Kosher Bagel Hole to cater my son’s bris in july. After dealing with a few different vendors we initially chose someone else who few needed to fire last minute. At 4:30pm the day before the bris we called the Kosher Bagel Hole with basically an emergency catering need. Though we had already released the Kosher Bagel Hole they graciously put together a fabulous spread for us and made sure all of our needs were met. They provided delicious food and helpful waitstaff — all within a moment’s notice. We so appreciated their willingness to assist. Even if we had not called them in a bind, I would still rate them very well for their food. However, the fact that they provided such fabulous customer service just made me love them even more. Planning a bris is a really stressful experience for a new mom and the staff at the Kosher Bagel Hole handled me with great patience and support. I recommend them to anyone planning such an event.

I stop into Kosher Bagel Hole several times a week. Sometimes just for a super hot and fresh coffee, other times I get a muffin or a bagel. You can get a bakers dozen here to take home too! The staff behind the counter is extremely fast and rarely make mistakes. Yes, they did make a mistake with me once. They mixed up the toppings on two bagels that I ordered. It’s okay though because tuna on a cinnamon raisin bagel doesn’t taste as bad as you think it would: P NOTE: There are two counters here, one to order a custom sandwich and one where you can get just coffee and pre-wrapped items. The one on the left when you walk in is the fast lane, the one in the back of the store by the oven is the place where you order.

The food is good. I have eaten there a number of times. I just wish that there was some kind of line for buying food. You have to fight your way to the counter, and you can’t tell who is waiting for their food and who still needs to order. It’s just a mob of people in a 50 square foot area. Though, this does seem to be the typical front of house design in the area.

A failed attempt at hitting up Di Fara’s( )(#1) resulted in my visit here at Kosher Bagel Hole. Despite being very saddened over missing out on some of NY’s finest pizza, the underlying hunger overtook my need for preference and pushed for anything that I could shove into my mouth. After seeing random bunches of Hasidic Jewish gentleman walk in and out of this bagel shop, I was convinced this was going to be a good stop. And for a moment, it was. I ordered a couple of toasted bagels with lox spread and though a bit miniature in size, packed a worthy bite in taste. The spread was creamy, with just enough lox to get some salmon flavor and the bagel itself was devoured in a matter of seconds. I was ready to order another bagel(they have a decent variety here) but decided against it in fear of «bloated bagel syndrome»(#2). The Mexican guys behind the counter were egging my friend and I on about trying more stuff, but we decided against it. The owner seemed like a nice guy and offered us extra napkins after noticing the smears of lox spread on our faces. Instead, we went for some water and juice, which washed down quite nicely. In the end, these bagels are not so mind blowing that I’d go out of my way to return again. I’m not even sure I’d come back after another failed DiFara’s attempt. But I do know that if I lived in the area, I’d be like the locals and hit this place up before heading to the train. — — — - (#1): Dom was vacation. I should’ve called ahead of time. Wait, he never answers the phone. (#2): Occurs after ingesting two or more bagels with some type of cream cheese. Clutching of the stomach and reoccurring bouts of sleepiness are sure to follow.

I wasn’t aware that this KBH and the KBH on CIA were owned by the same people. Well, the bagels are just as good here as the other store. Plus, they have this really good avocado salad and sliced sable to boot. Nice crispy, sort of sweet bagels. You can’t go wrong with that.
