I love there roast chicken and rice. The chicken is well seasoned and come apart on your folk. The prices are good, since I stopped in for lunch I was able to get the lunch special. For $ 8.00 I received half roast chicken, fried rice with a choice of soup or salad. Great portion size, dine in area, they accept cash, credit, & debit cards. I wasn’t comfortable eating in because loud music was being played very loudly. Sometime you just want a little piece and quiet while eating. The staff is nice & friendly.

This is based solely on delivery but the chicken is really good and fairly priced. Rice and beans are kind of bland, maduros are excellent and yucca is just okay. Interesting menu as well. Overall, you get a lot for the price but delivery does take a really long time. It is worth the wait.

We passed by this place on a lazy Saturday for lunch and it turned out to be a great find! We ordered the chicken combo, the fish ceviche and the tamales. The chicken was super moist and juicy and very well seasoned. The ceviche was a it dish but it was amazing! It has a bit of a kick if you want it spicy. The tamales were picked cleaned. The staff were friendly. I would definitely find my way back soon!

Great chicken. Some of the best I’ve had. I recommend it to all of my friends in the neighborhood and they all agree. Reasonably priced too.

Lunch special for $ 7.50 is pretty awesome. Had the fried porkchop with sautéed onions. Everything about the meal is mediocre. Thankfully the porkchop is not dry. The sauce has tomato so it’s a lil tangy. It came with chicken soup and soda. The soup looked grease but was actually quite good. Had a lot of homemade flavor with 2 pieces of chicken. Lots of cilantro and scallion. Nothing to really crave about but it’s a good lunch.

This is a bit of a hike from Clinton Hill but it’s a testament to the quality of the food that my wife and I make the trek there. My favourite is the Ceviche and the little dollop of fried Peruvian corn that they serve when you arrive.

This place is ok for peruvian food in sunset park. There is not a lot of places to eat peruvian food around here so this makes up for it a lot. I enjoy the choros a la chalaca and arroz con mariscos. The portion is very good, and the taste is ok. I do come to this place frequently this is why I give it a 4. I enjoy watching some good soccer games here.

So we were staying at the nearby Best Western Prospect Park hotel and came accross this restuarant for dinner. It’s been 3 months and I am still craving the salad we ordered with our meal. We were a family of 5(3 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 10) and at for less than $ 40 drinks included. We ordered their $ 28 Special that came with Chicken, 4 Beef Ribs, Super yummy salad, rice, beans and salchipapas(french fries and hot dog meat-interesting combo) We even took some left overs back to our hotel. I see people complaining about the chicken but I must have gone on a good day because it was moist and delicious maybe a little saltier than I am used to but still very good. The salad was my favorite with a generous amount of avocado and that dressing! I wish I knew how to make it. I would def go back to this place if I am in the area again even willing to take the R line from NYC to eat here again. Less that two blocks from the train stop. :)

Delish! Went there recently with family(8 people) and everyone totally enjoyed their meals. Between all of us we ordered: the chicken, ceviche, salmon, fish with tomato/onion sauce, steak, rice, tripe, seafood soup, plantains, yucca & flan. All great food. And everyone has since told me they can’t wait to go back. So happy to have found a great spot!

The chicken here is cheap and fine. I just wish they’d take off the brown parts of the lettuce for the salad…

I have to say that I am from Peru and been to several Peruvian restaurants around the tri-state area, pio pio is the excellence of Rotisserie chicken and would probably be very hard to replace or be as good as the is in pio pio. However La cuarta definitely holds the ground in sunset park/park slope area as one of finest taste of Peruvian food. Me and my family were there for Christmas we had the cau cau, seco de cabrito, ceviche, and arroz chaufa de mariscos. for the price we paid wich was roughly 80 $ and the big plates that were served; we were more than satisfied and stuffed. the taste was really good. I would highly recommend it if you are ever around the area. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary arroz con leche and mazamorra. Delicious! We did not try the chicken this is why i gave it a 4. As Peruvians we go to a Peruvian restaurant to eat what we don’t normally eat at home which is why we don’t order the chicken

I took a chance coming here since thecother two reviews weren’t good. Maybe I had low expectations but the rotisserie chicken was very good. Make sure to get extra green sauce on the side! Give this place a chance.

I love rotisserie chicken. It’s probably one of my favorite ways to eat this bird. Basted just right and with excellent flavor and I am one happy-go-lucky camper. In my opinion, there’s no excuse whatsoever for ordinary when it comes to rotisserie chicken. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with the chicken at La Cuarta(not at all soft tender and juicy), as well as with the side dishes(totally bland). I fail to come up with any rationale for how one can totally screw up rotisserie chicken. Perhaps it comes from a lack of pride for what comes out of the kitchen. I just don’t know. All I know is that I simply have nothing of value to say about my one and only experience with La Cuarta, except to say that maybe I’d give it another try – to be fair and balanced – if I happen to lose in a best of three in rock-paper-scissors. Oh yeah, the happy, yellow chicken icon they use wearing Andean style clothing is amusing. But there’s no way a chicken would be that happy if it knew it was going to get plucked, gutted, inserted with a long solid rod straight through its body, and then placed on a hot rotisserie. No way!

I came here today to see how the chicken was and it wasn’t anything spectacular, but it wasn’t horrible. I do prefer Pio Pio in Queens(or the city), but the chicken here was a tad bland for my palette. We ordered the duo combo with had a whole chicken, fries, and a salad for $ 16 to go. Iceberg lettuce I can do without, but the lemon-based dressing wasn’t too bad. The fries had merged with the condensation of its container and made them slightly slimy. There was also a strange piece of flan inside a cake stand, but the it was clearly not sliced like a piece of cake, which left an awkward rectangular chunk — not very appealing. Overall, I will not be coming back.
