I just saw a Midwife/​nurse here for my gynecological appt. Her name is Jessica Glen. She was so sweet. The place was easy for me to get to. The staff up front seem nice, but very busy and a little distracted. I did however find everyone very sweet and helpful. I didn’t have to wait too long to be seen. The exam was awesome and they act like they care about you. I recommend Jessica Glen to anyone looking for a nice nurse to do pap smears and ob/​gyn exams.

I was in a bind. I was losing my health insurance due to switching jobs and just found out I was pregnant. They squeezed me in what was already a fully packed schedule to service me prior to my insurance expiring. Then, because they knew I wouldn’t have insurance for a little while, they pulled out a sonogram machine (which they rarely use– he said theirs is so old its basically from World War II and they normally outsource for sonograms). I was so thankful and shocked to see the little heartbeat on the monitor even though I was only 8 weeks along. If I didn’t move, I would have loved to continue my prenatal care there. Very nice people!

I have been to La Providencia Family Health Center more than a few times and I have never had a problem with my visit. The doctors are kind and the nurse’s that screen you to see the doctor are so nice. I took away a star because if I make an appointment date and time I would like to be seen the time I made the appointment not a hour or more later because I do have a life and I work the appointment around my schedule, but I have only encountered that problem twice. In conclusion I would recommend this place.
