The Brooklyn fire dicks can’t be serious! They fight like girls and drive drunk every night. I have no idea how they do not get dwi’s!!! Bunch of pussies!!!

So upset mcmahons closed down what a shame. Was told the day before closing. Was unable to get down there for one last drink/​meal

We had such a great time here Saturday night. Juke box blaring, TV on and a really great neighborhood joint. Drinks were moderately priced and a real fun place to hang out after a concert at Kings Theatre or just to hang out.

Small neighborhood bar, my 2^nd time here. not a busy place which guarantees you a spot at the bar or at a table.
Effie the bartender is always so polite with a smile.
Food is typical bar food, decently priced drinks as well.
If your in the neighborhood consider this a safe haven if your not expecting much but do want a calm environment. Plenty of TV screens to watch your games.

We were so disappointed. The waitress didn’t understand what we ordered, after she understands us, she didn’t know what the orders were, if they were available, how many favors option, ok, May be that was her first day at work. And few things we orders, they all not available, and the food took so long to prepare, like 30 mins. Actually, they had two tables at that time. Another table was not big party either. The food tasted so so. So we rate it 1 star.

UPDATE! They lowered their price for brunch now that summer is basically over to $ 10.95 a person which includes a complimentary drink and the food is still great!

Great bar food! In my opinion one of the best wings in the neighborhood! I can’t wait to try their Sunday brunch!

So I am reviewing brunch. I admit to being a bit dubious about it as I know there’s a small kitchen and I’m big on my brunch fare. However I wound up really enjoying it. The food was good. I had the Irish breakfast which was very nice and I say it like that because I have had some crappy one’s and it was impressive how well this was done. Kudos to the cook. I can’t review the other things but I will come back again at some point and maybe try them. Also I have to give a big shout out to our waitress, Effie who was very nice and attentive and made us feel right at home. Kudos to you too. Great job. If your the owner do something nice for her.
All in all I’m happy to review the food here instead of just as a local watering hole.

Good food, cheap pints, good tvs, authentic broag on Flatbush… im thinking of going now.

Nothing special about this bar, its good if you live in the area.
