Mega Construction

We recently hired Mega to re-​do our front stoop and façade on our ‘brownstone’ house. They have completed the work and did a really good job — although this should last for many years so really only time will tell. This is a messy business and they did great at cleaning up after every day they worked. It also took a lot of time, but this is a good thing because you want the cement to completely dry on each coat before doing the next step. We also had a small problem and they came back to fix it in a timely manner even after they were fully paid. In the end the stoop and front of the house look FANTASTIC!

I contacted the owner and he was supposed to meet us to give us a quote for work we wanted done on a house we are buying. He never showed with no call, I had spoken to him the day before. When I called to find out where he was he made up some excuses and then tried to get us to meet the following day. I had rushed after work, picked up my kids and got there only to find out he had never had any intention of coming. What customer service, his work may not be any better.

Mega Construction is run by a gentleman named Nazim. We hired him to do a concrete stucco on the back of our wood frame home in Brooklyn. He showed up promptly to give an estimate and the price was reasonable. (having gotten many other estimates) He arrived when he said he would and the job got under way. I have to confess, I was probably the client from hell. I changed my mind constantly. What started as a two week job stretched in to months. Nazim was patient and went with the changes. (of course I paid $$ for them — but he was reasonable and willing to negotiate) The work was done well — if a bit messy on the job site — and the job turned out fantastic. I am very pleased with the quality of the work.
