Michael and Sons Pizza

The pizza was amazing, but even beyond that, the guys working here were incredibly friendly and attentive. It felt like the pizza places I used to go to with my dad when I was young. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Stopped in on a whim and I’ll be coming back even though it’s out of my way. If you want fancy artesian pizza I’m no help. If you want a really good Sicilian slice — this is among the best I’ve ever had. The regular slices are top notch too but… you’re missing out if you don’t come try a Sicilian slice.
This is from someone who grew up on Long Island and lives in Brooklyn — so I’ve had all the pizza you could imagine and more.

I probably order food from these guys at least once a week, that’s how good they are. Their food is always fresh, and their deliveries are always speedy. Mike, Danny, and John are always friendly when I walk in. The pizza, the hot sandwiches, the pinwheels, the wings, everything they serve is made just right.

I have an addiction to their garlic knots and marinara, however everything I’ve had from Michael and Sons has been amazing. Delivery is super fast, the food is always hot, and the delivery drivers are friendly. Often they throw in an extra garlic knot or two! They should be proud of their service and their food! On top of all this, their prices are (surprising for New York) affordable.

Excellent food and super quick delivery. Try this place out. With so many pizza places around, it’s sometimes hard to choose where to go. I’m glad I discovered Michael and sons. Food was fresh, and delicious.

Where do I begin, this place is awesome! Such a wide variety of slices. Anything you can imagine they have it even Nutella pizza by the slice! They are so accommodating that they will make whatever you want. Literally anything! Pasta so fresh and amazing! So clean so detailed such a people pleaser place. Not ur average pizza place. Definitely worth trying plus super fast delivery!

A strange pizzeria; located across from both Domino’s and Uno’s chain restaurants. This stretch of 4&5 Ave is all about car dealerships so there’s not a lot of foot traffic. Any eatery is going to survive on take-​out orders. This seems to be the case here. Is that good or bad? I don’t know. The place is VERY clean yes – the interior is that ’tiled’ style you find at chains like Sbarro’s. Clean, but also completely lacking in sit-​down appeal, its utterly character-​less inside. You could walk in here wearing sweatpants and eat. Its a place for teenagers to grab two red-​formica booths and yak away. Watching cars whoosh by outside. Anyway, that’s just the aesthetic. How about the food? There must be a busy take-​out business if this place earns enough to pay its property tax. Surprisingly the food looks, smells, and tastes excellent. What you’d expect to match the décor would be a bunch of limp, dry, sad, half-​asses pies on the counter. But that is not the case! (haw). The pies are made with care and attention, fresh and zingy. Thick and generous with ingredients. I think this is a decent pizza choice, all things considered.

As a pizzaphile I eat A LOT of pizza, if you’re looking for a signature slice from Brooklyn look no further. Top notch taste of what a slice in NYC should taste like, if you fancy a further array of dishes you’re lucky as you can get excellent pasta as you would In an Italian restaurant. Also, this may have nothing to do with the actual food but the place is squeaky clean as well :) Cheers.

Best pizza and pasta in bay ridge Brooklyn! Everything they make is super fresh and they only use homestyle recipes! This is actually the second location they have opened their first is in bayside queens and they’ve been in business for over 35 years! This is a family owned restaurant and their ingredients are top notch! They only use the best of the best down to their sauces and cheese! I recommend their daily specials and also recommend their lasagna! Definitely my new favorite spot in town for delivery and pickup! I truly stand by what I say and recommend this place to anyone in the area whose in the mood for some real Italian food. They are better than ninos! Better than most restaurants in this area that have been here for a while. They may be the new kids on the block but they have surpassed all other pizzerias around here! Don’t hesitate to give it a try! Also the bonus is the owners and behind the counter staff are very friendly helpful and hard workers! I have not one bad thing to say this place deserves more than 5 stars!

Tried this place for delivery when their menu was in our mailbox. Knew that this place was a new owners since it use to be a different pizza place. I’m glad my husband & I tried this place! Their pizza is delicious!!! They make everything fresh to order too! Their prices are around the same as other pizza places. Their menu has coupons & daily specials!!! The guy that took our order was nice & the delivery boy too! I would say that this pizza place is as good as Pizza Wagon!!!
