New to the area and was starving after work yesterday so I checked on Unilocal to find pizza places by me and this was the closest one. I walked in and the place was pretty empty and dull, but sometimes those kind of places are the best so I figured why not? Well, now I know why not. First off, the place hardly had any options. I was left to choose between one of the four margherita slices they had left, one sorry looking mushroom slice and your standard regular slice. Honestly, the pizza looked pretty good(other than the mushroom slice) so I opted for a margherita and a plain slice and I’m sad to say the pizza just wasn’t good. The crust was nothing special and the slices were just dry. However, I may be bias as I prefer my margherita slices to be nice and saucy to the point where I’m worried about getting my shirt dirty and sauce dripping down my chin. The staff was friendly so they get one star for that. The second star is for the fact that the pizza wasn’t inedible, but I look for a bit more in my pizza than that! Maybe I set my sights to high, but I mean c’mon it is is Brooklyn!

Spot just changed owners, no menu, no prices, and they are picking up orders from previous owners customers without informing anyone of price or shift in owners. Not cool.

I was craving Italian food so I figured a pizzeria would be my best bet in my Crown Heights neighborhood just past 8pm. I ordered a chicken parmesan hero then couldn’t resist a chicken and broccoli pizza slice for $ 3.75. I did cringe at the cost but once I got home and bit into the slice, it was so well worth it. I am used to chicken parmesan heroes so it was nothing special. The slice made my night. I’ll be back.

Compared to other mom & pop pizza shops, this is by far one of the best. The owners are friendly, and the service is prompt. I’ve had good pasta dishes here especially the spaghetti and meatballs, the subs are delicious and the pizzas are delectable down to the last bite of crust. I absolutely love Mike’s! My pockets do too.

Absolutely your average slice place. Their cheese slice is solid and I had one of their special slices which was pretty great actually. The owners work behind the counter and are just the nicest people ever. I’m all about supporting tiny mom and pop places, so if you’re looking for pizza in the area, this is the place to go.

Have gotten food(pizza) from here twice now. It’s not the best pizza in the world, but it’s fine for the price. Friendly staff. Interior could definitely use a face-lift. Due to it’s close proximity to my apartment I imagine I will be stopping in here for a slice from time to time.

The delivery was fast but the pizza was bland. I was disappointed because I could have paid $ 5 for a better pizza at lil ceasar’s. Don’t think I will be ordering from this place again.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!! I never actually wrote on a review on Unilocal but this place really made me want to create one. As a crown heights resident theres not much of a choice for authentic NY pizza other than papa johns or dominos. As I’m looking for a place on grub hub I stumble upon«Mike’s pizza». Read a couple reviews on Unilocal and it doesn’t sound like a bad deal. Called this place and ordered 1 extra large pepperoni pizza, penne a la vodka with breaded cutlet and a chicken roll. After the 1 ½ hour wait the order was finally at my door. The first thing i do is open the pizza box up, I wish I took a photo. The center ends of the pizza were overcooked and rolled up, the dough tasted so old and lacked taste. It felt like it had a frozen pizza crust. The sauce was horrible and very dry on the pizza, cheese was very cheap. Now on to the chicken roll… If I thought no pizza shop could not mess up a chicken roll, well i was so wrong. First I feel the bread. It was so stale, like if it was in the store for a week. The chicken also was tasteless. Marinara sauce … Bland. You get the point … On to the«Penne a la vodka». First of all they did not even give me penne pasta. They put a couple spoons of sauce because this pasta was so dry! Had the texture of Leftover cold lasagna. Chicken cutlet, as expected; tasteless. Total was $ 30, I will never be ordering from here again. I couldn’t even eat it, ended up in the garbage. BEAWARE!!!

Delivery is fast — pies are cheap and decent. Nothing too great, but good when you need to feed a large group of people on a budget.

Really they deserve three and a half stars, but that’s not an option, so I’m rounding down for as follows: Not a restaurant so much as a bodega specializing in pizza. A shop, really — but who cares about ambiance? Delivery is fast, the people are friendly. The pizza is solid good — Grandma and Christine pizzas never disappoint — fresh mozz? I’m doubtful, but a reliable yum when I crave it. Amazing — no, but totally the best in the neighborhood.

My daughters favorite pizzeria. If she could eat pizza everyday she would and she really enjoys a plain slice from here. I really can’t say anything bad about them as they are always friendly. They have a very extensive menu but we have never ordered anything but pizza and they do it just right for the kid.

The delivery is fast here and it is not extraordinary pizza but it is great for the price and delivery time! I have eaten at the location before and it’s pretty clean and they are fast there too.

Solid pizza. And cheap. And everybody who works there is cool. My go-to spot for pizza in Crown Heights, for sure.

Pretty stellar pizza and pasta… standard New York pizza place with all of the expected accoutrements(ziti, beef patties, etc.), they’re cheap and the delivery is fast. Double bonus points for bringing my fat self a side of ranch to go with my large cheese pizza. Thanks, Mike’s. Thanks for sending me glorified mayo to dip my pizza in. And thank you double for not judging me. At least not to my face.

Best hood pizza I have ever had. Try the Christina Pie and you will not be dissapointed. Fresh tomato sauce and fresh garlic… delicious!

If you live in this area, this is the pizza shop to go to. great service, great pizza, good prices. comparatively to other options around here, they are the best. And on a wider scale, they still rank high as far as pizza shops go. I can’t comment on delivery, but i always call ahead and they are exceedingly prompt. I walk up to the counter and they are already handing me the pizza before I say that I placed an order. I’m making my way through their entire menu and so far hot subs are beating out any of their hot dish offerings. However you shouldn’t concern yourself with anything else, because their pizza is tops. factoids: — They don’t accept credit cards, but there is an ATM in the shop. — They are open generally until 11pm — pricing is very affordable, especially on full pies

These guys ain’t the best, but they ain’t bad either. Think pizza that’s OK delivered at a good price. I’ve never tried anything from here but the pizza, so I can’t really say anything about the sandwiches or wings, besides that they have them on the menu. If I had a friend coming in from out of town, I wouldn’t necessarily say«Hey we gotta order from Mike’s», but it’s a good option as a neighborhood delivery place.
