She was willing to see me same day but at a certain time but I respected that. She is very good at what she does my hair came out very good.

What I got: Relaxer Touch Up, Trim, and Style.
Pros: In this neighborhood, it’s hard to find people who do black hair, and do it for a reasonable price — they do.
Cons: Not super professional. The two women working there at the time really only spoke to one another and not the customer. I’m not particularly chatty when I get my hair done, so I didn’t mind but it was kind of weird. Also, my hairstylist was a little aggressive with the relaxer. She left it on too long, in my opinion, and combed it through to the ends even though you’re only really supposed to put it on the new growth. Also, seemed like an amateur when it came to the trim. She was basically cutting straight across instead of making the cut look more natural.
I get the impress that they’re good at doing extensions and possibly braiding, but I won’t be coming back for a relaxer.
The other strange thing was that on the door it said they accepted credit cards. But when it came time to check out, I was told that it was broken. I found that annoying.
Finally, I got a very bizarre phone call from the owner asking why I posted photos of the place on the internet when the place wasn’t cleaned up. I told her it was because I thought it was a fair representation of what it looked like. Then she hung up. Bizarre.
