After learning about Emily’s ‘Mrs. Pleasant Vibrant Living Cooking Classes’, Emily and I scheduled a cooking class to be held at my apartment for myself and some friends. The cooking class was a great way for friends to spend time laughing, sharing great conversation, and learning how to make tasty, fast and easy, nutritional food on a chilly, spring, evening. The menu included chimi-churri seitan skewers, coconut basmati rice, and a fresh tossed salad with currants, and a sesame-mushroom dressing. Dessert was freshly made chocolate covered strawberries. I definitely plan on inviting Emily in the near future to come and teach my friends and I a new dining idea for the chilly climate in the post-holiday season.
