N & D is about 20 feet from a competitor pizzeria. That is not common but often when that happens, there are benefits for diners. I noticed that they take credit cards. Many neighborhood pizzerias do not. They have a nice TV. Many other pizza places do not. They have the name of their restaurant and address on their customized pizza(take out) box. That is quite rare for NYC pizza places to not use a generic box. Also the man behind the counter was very nice to me. Sometimes that is not true in similar places. I also noticed that they open at 10AM. Most others open at 11AM. It is necessary to be extra competitive, to stay in business. I have noticed them and their nearby competitor for many years. They are doing what is necessary to keep diners happy. I had higher than usual expectations for their food and they were met. The pizza was four and half stars. It had a very good blend of cheese, oil and tomato sauce. The crust could have been a little bit more tasty but it was close to perfect. The price was only $ 15.00. But that is expected with intense competition. Had a good pizza and will be sure to return.

I come here a lot because it is on the route I take to go home from my hockey practice. Regular pizza there is above average but their Grandma Slice is serious pizza. The garlic and the suace complement the pizza immensely. They have seating and a TV. Highly recommend that you go.

I’m a regular here, have been for 20+ years. Nothing super fancy, but always delicious pizza. My favorite here is Fresh Mozzarella With Tomatoes pie, but I tried many different pies as well, and they are all good. Highly recommend!

Classic NY style pizza deep in the heart of Brooklyn. No pineapple or designer sushi toppings here. This place delivers classic pizza done extremely well. The crust, and it’s all about the crust, is thin and crisp on the bottom, but not too crisp, not to bready, not too doughy. Singed just right on the bottom. The top of the crust has just enough of a doughy texture to be able to fold the wedge to eat without it cracking or tearing the crust. You had to pull just the right amount with your teeth to tear your bite of pizza off the slice. The crust to tomato sauce to cheese ratio was spot on and the cheese and sauce came off appropriately with the crust bite. The sauce want to thin and cheese want too gooey. Salt pepper oregano and chili flakes were all set out on each table, as it should be. Great job guys keeping real NY pizza alive!

I had a friend who lived up the block from N&D and whenever we hung out, we always ordered from there. And as I remember their pizza was a step-up from a lot of the local joints, which to me says a lot since most of the places pump out good/solid pizza all the time. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here nor would I say«if you’re visiting go here…» But besides that definitely on my list.

Best pizza in sheepshead bay. Hands down. Maybe guy who answers the phone is sometimes rude. But it’s still great food.

I don’t know what N&D stands for, but growing up nearby it was always a Neighborhood Delight. I love this place. I don’t even know where to start. They might have the best chicken rolls. I ate one at least once a week growing up. Get a side of marinara with it. I love their square slices, especially their specialty ones. Those bread crumb slices are fantastic. The grandma slice, chicken parm slice, eggplant slice are all great. The regular slices are pretty good too. The garlic knots are a bit greasy, but very solid. Keep that side of marinara from the chicken roll. It’s a basic neighborhood spot. Don’t expect something with amazing décor. The pizza they’ve been doing here since I was a kid, can go toe to toe with any other generic neighborhood pizza shop. If you find yourself going down Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay, stop on in and try some old school Brooklyn pizza.

Chicken roll. Eggplant slice. Peach snapple. That been my order since 1999. It’s a neighborhood pizza place and it’s well worth stoping in. I still believe they make the best chicken roll in the city, try one.

This place was horrible. Went in with my boyfriend and I had two square slices and he had round pepperoni. My pieces were so hard I could not even eat them both. His pieces were old and greasy. It cost a total of 15 dollars with a can soda. then they threw my soda away when I went to the bathroom. I Will never eat here again. I would put no stars if I could.

I don’t even live in this area but I take the drive out here to get ny family pizza all the time. Clean, courteous, and delicious. What more can I ask for? Oh yes. And reasonably priced. I love their specialty pizzas and their regular slices(square n Sicilian) are always up to par. Their rolls are also excellent.

One of my favorite pizza places. My wife and I have been ordering delivery from here for the better part of 7 years. The food is always consistent and the delivery is always quick. Though we don’t visit the actual location too frequently the new updated décor is a welcome change. There a few pizza places I enjoying eating at more than here. The dinners are great the garlic knots are some of the best I’ve had.

Their basic slices are really great, and although I’ve never tried the specialty slices they keep in a refrigerated case near the back, they look pretty good too. Slices, beef patties, rolls and calzones just to name a few… we’ve tried most and were never disappointed. N&d is one of the best pizzerias in hood. Can’t really speak on the kitchen food as we’ve never really tried it, but we plan on it very soon. If the pizza is any indication, I’m sure the kitchen food will be just as great.

I’ve only ordered Pizza in this place and was instantly hooked. I always come an order the same thing, Grandma this pizza slices. I eat them up like its candy. They make the most amazing Grandma slices. The place itself is very clean and they have a TV running always on big sporting events and the discovery channel. I would highly recommend coming here as I found it also through Unilocal
