total shady place. they have dermalogica skin care in the windows but a friend of mine went there and she looked like she had a chemical peel from a simple basic facial. She was burnt for days. Come on dermalogica is for all skin types. No way is the stuff they used on her dermalogica. shady shady shady

I went here because I recently moved here and am still looking for a regular waxing spot. This place had great reviews on Google, but my experience was anything but. I gave this place an extra star only because the lady was nice, and obviously detailed oriented. That being said, I got an eyebrow wax and a Brazilian. Both of which I have been doing monthly for years. When I called to book the appointment, the woman briefly tried to talk me out of getting a brazillian. Strange.
At the appointment, the lady never actually used wax on my eyebrows and just plucked them, which I HATE. Plucking hurts more then waxing does, which is the reason I wax. I can pluck at home.
When we finally got around to the Brazilian, the real misery began. They wax was way to hot, and burned me, the woman would only do dime sized patches at a time, had no idea what she was doing, and did not use new sticks for the wax. In the end she gave up and tried to pluck which was so painful I just asked her to stop.
The whole thing was super painful, left wax all over me, was a splotchy job, and took TWO HOURS.
I would NEVER suggest this place for any kind of waxing. I am sure they do great massages, but I wont be going back to find out.
