My friend suggested we get this groupon for a facial. I said sure sounds like fun. It’s walking distance from from my home. My friend made the appointments. We had 10am and 11am on a Saturday. I took the 10am slot since I live so close. This business is housed inside of a nail boutique. The nail salon was pretty nice. It was 10am so there wasn’t anyone in there just one staff member cleaning up. I walk into the salon and let them know I was there was a facial and I was led to sit in the waiting area.
NB skincare is a one woman show, so she takes care of everything. She greeted me (I’m horrible with name) and introduced herself then we went into the room. This was my first facial so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I was give a short robe and told to undress from the waist up and then lay down face up.
There was a massage, scrub, mask, lots of steam, cream and blackhead extractions ($ 30 extra). I left feeling great. My face felt smooth, soft and moisturized. Can’t complain on that front.
My only suggestion would be that she silence or put on do not disturb her cell phone during the sessions. I could hear when the music lowered several times due to incoming text messages or notifications. And my friend told me that the phone rang a few times during her session.

I went for a facial back in February and it was a wonderful experience. Getting a facial from Allison was absolutely delightful. She was extremely warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable with my experience. While getting my facial she gave me tips on how to maintain a daily regimen on keeping my skin looking great. I will be scheduling another facial in May for both me and my sister. Definitely looking forward.

Allison is amazing! Very knowledge, passionate and caring about what she does. She was very gentle and made me feel at ease ! My skin was glowing for weeks! Will be going back soon! Stay tuned for the before and after pics!

I went in looking to get a facial for my tired and stressed skin over the past couple of months. I opted for the Deep Pore Cleansing Facial with a seaweed mask add on.
I had a great experience. Allison is very hands on and ensures that you are relaxed and comfortable. She is very knowledgable and does not push products on you… However she will give you recommendations on the ingredients the products should have that you are currently using — which is a super plus.
Cleaning and massaging of the skin was on POINT! Extractions were not painful at all as she was very gentle…
I left with glowy and dewy skin with no irritations.
