I was looking to get a boxing championship belt custom-​made to be a fantasy football trophy. I feared that it might be expensive but Victoria at New Dimension told me over the phone and via email it could be done for just $ 15. Wow! I even sent her a link to the exact belt I’d be purchasing to have re-​done, she said I was good to go.
I went ahead and bought the belt and brought it in to the store… only to be told by the owner it would actually cost $ 83. And it would be a shitty office nameplate that I would have to cut out («with a razor. or something») and attach to the belt myself.
Now I’m out $ 25 and wasted hours of my time. Maybe this putz can handle a «secretary of the year» plaque just fine, I don’t know. But his business practices are disgusting. Get your trophies etc. made elsewhere.

They did it again. I had to get awards for this year’s ceremony and the budget was half of last year’s. No matter! The manager/​owner remembered me, and put together a great package of engraved plaques for us. Once again, the awards we presented stood out over all other departmental honorees. The great work and dedication of the recipients was represented with something they will keep and display proudly.
