We came with 4 people for brunch. We shared the kale dip appetizer, which was delicious, but a small serving. I thought our brunch entrees would be small too, but they were all big portions. The mac and cheese is delicious. For dessert, we shared the brownie sundae which was huge. I would have liked the brownie to be warmer but it was good. The backyard is big with lots of seating. We sat inside though. It was too dark for my taste(which is saying something — I’m like a vampire, I love a dark restaurant), especially since it’s getting darker earlier now. Anyway, I’d recommend it if you’re in the area!

I love this neighborhood spot for brunch. The staff is nice, it’s never super crowded, the food is good, it’s a perfect way to start the day. Plus the garden in the back is really nice in the summer. I would highly recommend ordering the breakfast burrito and a mimosa!

I was unfortunately very underwhelmed with this restaurant. They have a super cute outdoor seating area, but the food left a lot to be desired. The empanadas were delicious, but I am 100% sure our mac and cheese was re-heated. We also ordered the steak and it was overdone. I would come back for drinks, but would recommend only the empanadas.

I’m appalled and disheartened by this«food» experience. Never have I encountered such measly portions at such a cost. A fun, casual summer outing quickly turned into a horror-show. We paid $ 40 for what turned out to be about 3 shots of lemonade and the cheese plate was pathetic. This place literally ruined my day. Do not come here.

I was walking around Williamsburg and wanted to stop somewhere to have a wine. I am for Europe and I am used with tables and chairs outside, gardens in the summer. Unfortunately, New York does not offer such perks in the summer and in most locations you have to stay inside or if you are outside, the tables are on a busy sidewalk or street. Strolling thru Williamsburg, I heard voices from a garden, went in and it was Nita Nita. We ordered a Malbec and enjoyed the summer day. The garden was unpretentious, people were cool and the vibe was very laid back. I really enjoyed the location. It looked like someone with a house, just opened the door for strangers to relax in their garden. I did not have anything to eat, I cannot say anything on that, but the overall vibe was very cool.

Very reasonable prices considering the area. Definitely take advantage of the outdoor seating if it’s open when you’re there, it’s really nice! The sangria was delicious and the hummus was alright. Recommend if you’re interested in hanging out with friends and not so focused on a big dinner.

I’ve just located and established my pre-show-go-to for grub and bevvies in Williamsburg(very close to Rough Trade, also close to Music Hall of Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bowl). Excellent service(huge shout out to John!) and the food is really really really good! We started with the Kale Cheese Dip, which was phenomenal, and split the Mac and Cheese, Cuban Sammie and Fish Tacos. This was perfect post-hangover, pre-night-out drinking food. We skipped the bacon in the Mac and cheese and opted for just jalapeños(Gouda Macaroni and Cheese with home-pickled jalapeños $ 13) at our servers suggestion and what a nice special something different to the traditional version of the dish. The Cuban Sandwich(Nita Cubano $ 14) was also unexpected perfection — perfectly toasted bread with juicy, spicy pork. I also need to note that this place has the best pickle back shots(aka pickleadas) I’ve ever had! They use homemade jalapeño infused brine as the Jameson chaser!

A little gem. Great backyard for brunch. Pulled pork was exceptional. Fish tacos were okay. Indoor restaurant was empty however.

The pulled pork + cornbread will ruin your life if you have a gluten allergy but it will totally be worth it. Sidebar: they do not claim it to be gluten free, it was my inebriated error.

Great selection of beers, well made cocktails, friendly service(tall, blonde, bearded guy was super nice and let me sample multiple beers before I ordered one), and great happy hour deals. What more can you ask for from a neighborhood bar? Plus, the back garden is BEAUTIFUL; a perfect place to sit with a Blueberry Spiked Lemonade on a warm afternoon. The snacks are good too. This place has been here since before Williamsburg became overrun with yuppies, and yet they’ve kept their laid back vibe. Please Nita, don’t ever change.

This place is a good place. You will not be disappointed by coming here. You want a sake bomb? They make a sake bomb. And they have a gnome in their back yard. But above all that, they make really good food, sell affordable drinks, have really nice service, and provide a nice ambiance perfect for chillin with any sort of friendship dynamic. I came around 6:30pm: — The Brussele Salad will change your life. Beets(or no beets) included, the texture, the dressing… everything was amazing. I actually am putting this on my ‘favorite salad’ list and kind of want to ask for the recipe from the owner. — The mac and cheese is really well cooked. Not soupy, just right. And bacon. Yummy. — Super friendly service staff, just very sweet and really attentive — Lighting and ambiance is nice in the early evening. Join the fun and Nita Nita.

Meh. Had a pretty bad experience for brunch here a few weeks ago. We were welcomed warmly and immediately sat down, but it took a server 15+ minutes to greet us and another 10 to put our orders in. Then, we wait almost 45 minutes for our food to come out, the time during which 3 tables that came in after us received their orders. Finally, a server stops by to tell us that they made a mistake on our order and were redoing them. Really? It took you 45 minutes to tell us that? When our food finally came(eggs benedict and breakfast burrito), the burrito was cold and missing the sauce it was supposed to come with, and the eggs benedict was way overcooked. It was basically a hardboiled egg instead of a poached one. We didn’t want to wait AGAIN for them to correct this(not that our server was anywhere to be found after dropping the food off), so we sucked it up and ate. Check took an additional 20 minutes to come. Thank god we had cash so we didn’t have to wait for our cards to be processed. What was supposed to be a quick brunch with friends turned into a 2 hour affair of mostly waiting and overpriced yet mediocre food. Maybe this was a one time occurrence, but sorry– will not be visiting again.

Ok first of all I’m not a Brooklynite and was visiting the area for a day with a friend… We went here for brunch and I thought the service was so rude, pretentious, and unhelpful. I asked my server if I could have a burrito without the tortilla since I cannot eat them and I was told that the chef doesn’t do that. Pardon me for not knowing that your burritos are sacred. Are you kidding me? I should’ve just ordered it and asked for a bowl to pour it out. I ended up getting the Hangover Bowl and it was horrible. I would’ve told the server but I doubt she cared at all. If you are visiting the area I’d stay away from this place.

I come here often. It’s nice in the summer when you can sit outside, but I enjoy the atmosphere inside too. It’s somewhat of a limited menu but everything is tasty — also quite a range, so no matter who you take everyone is happy. It’s never overcrowded, or empty either. As a bonus, it’s around the corner from a number of solid music venues. I once saw Rudimental dining here before their gig — so if you want to get your groupie on, it might be a good place to hang out…

Great bar with a very nice backyard which has served as a destination bar for myself as well as a great place to meet up before a show at MHoW. There is a very selection of beers on tap as well as a great small menu of food offerings. The backyard during the summer months is a must experience, large and cozy and isolated, when you emerge out the front you almost forget where you were. It’s a little bit of a hike from the Bedford Ave L train but manageable, just walk in the direction of the water!

I have mixed feelings on this place. Their slogan is «stiff drinks, great eats,» I agree the drinks are stiff… and also terrible. I took one speak of mine(and I love cocktails) and ordered a beer. And then they charged me for the cocktail. That pissed me off. So I’ll skip to the better part of the evening… the food. The pulled pork with cornbread was not only a different take on something that seems very traditional but it was VERY tasty. Like one of the better dishes I’ve had recently. The flavors all just merged together into something new and different. If you somehow end up here… at least order that. Otherwise bypass this place for some of the better options in the area.

Five stars might be a bit high for Nita Nita, I think it’s a safer 4.5, and for the overall experiences I’ve had here, I won’t be stingy with it. When my girlfriend lived in the area, we made it out here and it was never dissapointing. The menu changed and had a good degree of range to it, the cocktails(beers, in my case) were always impressive and damn good as well, and we’re never had a problem with service other than it being a little slow. The tapas was consistently great; what stands out from memory were the brisket sliders and the gouda mac and cheese with chorizo on the side to really slam this thing home. It’s not remotely healthy, but you won’t hate yourself afterwards either because it would have been worth it. It’s a great spot for a low-key time well spent, whether you’re looking for good food or good drinks. It can even be romantic depending on when you come. Outdoor seating serves as a huge plus, as well.
