NYC Supermaid

DO NOT USE NYC SUPERMAIDS. I hired them for a move-​out clean where it was promised that the cleaner would arrive with cleaning supplies as part of the price (since all my supplies were packed up). The cleaner arrived with NOTHING. When I called to complain, they promised to send someone out ASAP with cleaning supplies, but were going to charge me an extra $ 80 for it (!!) — and the person didn’t even arrive. This was a time-​sensitive appt given the move out process so we ultimately had to run out and buy cleaning supplies, including a mop and broom — just absurd. Although we were able to negotiate a slightly lowered rate that covered the costs of the supplies we purchased, it was still cost far too much given what was promised vs what was delivered and the stress caused. Avoid these folks at all costs.

Do not bother utilizing this worthless cleaning service. Aside from not showing up for the first scheduled appointment without even a phone call (I actually had to call them to find out no one was coming), after being rescheduled for the next day, nobody showed up again… and this time there was no one picking up the phone in the office to tell me why we have another no-​show. I bought a deal off LivingSocial and now am pretty clear why they need to drum up business. If you have a cleaning service that is so disorganized they don’t even know when their cleaners aren’t showing up to scheduled appointments, you certainly have a lot of work to do before you can consider yourself legitimate.
Bottom line, after setting time aside in my schedule because of their incompetence, I ended up getting stood up twice by NYCSupermaid. Don’t waste your time or money and go for a real cleaning service that actually shows up and cleans. I would give zero stars if I could.
