I’m vietnamese… they don’t know how to make phở. How can you mess the one dish that is in your name. I think the reason for this is that the store is not actually run by Vietnamese but actually chinese making vietnamese food. the broth in the phở I had was not rich in flavor as other phở i’ve had nearby in brooklyn’s chinatown. I’m going to avoid this place from now on

I ordered delivery and I was very disappointed. I ordered a small order of egg rolls and they were tiny. I also ordered a porkchop, sausage, and egg over rice. They used hot dogs instead of Chinese sausage which was disgusting. The dish came with a lot of rice but barely any toppings. Would not order again.

Early dinner with my friend Mike. We both had the Phở. The broth is rich, the noodles are delicious, and the meat is tender. Afterwards, the night was early, but our stomachs were full.

Really great sandwiches for a fair price! The chicken leg over rice is a must try! Authentic Vietnam food! The workers are really friendly. Wish they had more seats.

Don’t order delivery from these guys. The food is decent, but don’t expect them to deliver in a timely manner.

I’m sad to say I don’t like either of their meat and beef ball noodle soups. They remodeled, I think. Not sure if it’s the same cooks and management.

The Main dish of EVERY Vietnam Restaurant is it’s phở and should be rated based on it and the Phở here was Lackluster its soup was Blend worth at most a 3 star in my book and the reason I gave it a 2 instead of 3 is that the price is a bit too high for the lackluster product they produce

Not the best Vietnamese restaurant, since it’s owned and run by Cantonese/Mandarin speakers. The bun cha gio was decent; I found the vermicelli(bun) to be a little dry and hard. The cha gio was super petite and had tiny fillings of some pink mystery meat… The portions were good with the right amount of veggies, bun, and cha gio. The vegetables and steamed fish in a claypot were not worth $ 12.50…everything tasted very bland and flavorless… There was a huge bee in the restaurant that was persistent and wouldn’t go away, it made my family and I uncomfortable eating and we basically sped ate so we could leave ASAP. The service here was good; the young woman at the counter kept an eye on us and asked if we liked the food and if there was anything wrong. PS: the wait for the claypot fish and vegetables took forever to come out. This dish came out after I was finished with my own meal.

I noticed that people either hate or love this place. I like this place because the food taste good and the prices are good. The service is great too. The lady that work here is very friendly. I usually order over the phone here and they speak Cantonese and Mandarin. This place to me is more Chinese and does not seem authentic but I do not have a problem with that. The food here is not as good as nam son or Tu Do or phở Bang in Chinatown which are my favorite go to vietnamese restaurants. However they make really good Bun Thit Nuong — grilled pork with vermicelli. The pork was juicy and flavorful and the vermicelli is al dente and they give a decent amount. They also add the traditional chopped peanuts and green onions with lettuce and cucumbers. They also add pickled carrots and daikon in the dish. The fish sauce taste good. This dish taste better than the one you get in the regular viet restaurants. The shrimp fried rice is okay. They added chopped shrimp to yellow rice with eggs and peas. Nothing special. The phở here is better than most chinese viet restaurants. You are not going to get the nice beefy aroma that you normally get at the previous traditional viet restaurant I mentioned but the phở here does the job and it is cheaper than average. I think it cost 6.25 for a small where in Chinatown it is usually $ 7. They give you a wedge of lime and thai basil. Their spring rolls are not the usual kind that you get from normal viet restaurant, They are crispy and there are less fillings. It is more of a skinny egg roll but it taste a lot better than the ones you get from Chinese take out.

I placed an order on a Wednesday 5:50pm via internet after getting a busy signal over the phone. 45 min passes and I call them. no one picks up. I get a voicemail«please leave a message after the tone». After 80 min, I had to call the online ordering service to cancel my order. They have been trying to contact the restaurant unsuccessfully as well. Forget rating the food. If you’re hungry, order from a place that actually does business.

The first time my family ordered from this place, they asked me if I wanted viet food. I did, but it was too late and I was going to head to bed soon. When the food arrived, The delicious aroma travelled from my dining room all the way to my room. I was salivating while trying to watch Netflix. The next day I asked them where they ordered from and cool enough, they were going to order again for dinner because they really enjoyed the food. There’s quite a few items on the menu. I didn’t know what to order. I wanted rice, so my brother pointed to the rice plate list. I chose the marinated beef cubes over rice. It was good but the ratio of rice to beef cubes was not equal… I ended up with a lot of leftover rice. I need more beef cubes!!! The next time we ordered, I got the banh mi. I wasn’t a fan of it but granted, they’re not a banh mi place, so I won’t hold it against them. I would want to try the phở, but I don’t know how it’ll hold up as a delivery item compared to eating it at the restaurant. We were suppose to order from this place two Fridays ago. We called and called. We thought this place was busy. When I finally got a hold of them, they said they were closed. I stopped by this past Friday just to make sure they were opened. The place it pretty spacious but it was empty. There was only one person dining in.

I usually rate restaurants after trying them more than once but I’ll make an exception for this one. Service was fast and pleasant. The food was average but good. There really is nothing specially great about this place, but nothing bad either. I ordered phở #1 on the menu and was greeted with the typical giant bowl. I would also recommend the summer rolls.

I love Vietnamese food and eat it often. I heard there was a good Viet restaurant in Sunset Park, and, sorry to say, this one isn’t it. The good reviews must have been for sandwiches, bubble tea and delivery by people with low expectations. I stopped in for lunch on the Friday after New Year’s Day. The lemongrass shrimp was bland and soggy. The shrimp summer rolls were sweet, which I have never experienced before. And had barely any shrimp in them. The pork on vermicelli was just okay. Not nearly the amount of fresh herbs I expect from a good Vietnamese place. So if you are looking for good, authentic Vietnamese, keep looking.

Their delivery is awesome. I had the fish fresh roll and seafood and veggie phở. My order arrived within 45 minutes; it was warm and fresh and came with all of the fixings(bean sprouts, basil, lime). The shrimp was my favorite, cleaned and a great portion.

I should round up all the people that gave this place over 3 stars and slap them. You clearly never had good Viet food before. Everything at this place is below mediocre. I’ve had plenty of Viet coffee before and theirs taste like water down coffee from last night. I realize these mofo’s jipped me after one sip. Their phở is a complete joke, broth tasted cheap, food items from phở was missing and/or lacking. Should’ve went next door and grab some dumplings instead. There’s a reason why this place is empty. Go down a few more block on 8th ave and get some REAL Viet food.

Simple mom and pops! My husband and I are always down to try«hole in the wall» restaurants and this one looked like one. There’s no fancy signage or bright lights. You get what you get = A-OK. The soup broth is nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s still OK! We also ordered the Beef Stew which I ended up liking better than just the ordinary Beef Broth soup. They have Boba Milk Tea! I don’t know if it’s good. I didn’t try it. Yes, They take Credit Card.

Don’t have much to say about this place. The flavor for their phở is too strong or very chinese imo. I like the clear and easy taste as the ones in Chinatown Manhattan. I haven’t try their bahn mi however I would go to the real place across the street. As for a quick meal, this is definitely the place. $ 7 for phở and $ 5 for a quick meal, I think this is a good deal of course. However I had something way better and this is just ok for me.

Sunday phở brunch — we got one bowl with tendon, one with eye of round. The broth is super flavorful, somewhat darker than most, and on the salty side. Still, not bad and very satisfying. On the other hand, the noodles, which usually take a backseat to broth, were this time notably disappointing. They were too firm, too thick, and had a stale texture — as if they had been cooked and then refrigerated overnight. Come on, Restaurant, rice vermicelli is cheap and takes half a second to cook — don’t give me your dead refrigerated stuff! Along the same lines, they cheaped out with the basil as well(only giving a TINY amount), and there wasn’t much meat in either bowl. The restaurant is one of those«proprietor is doing her accounting on a table in the back» sort of deals, but it’s pretty clean otherwise(and those two things cancel out to equal exactly zero ambiance). They don’t seem to have tapioca for bubble teas until later in the afternoon. I hear the banh mi are not bad, but with Ba Xuyen( ) across the street, why would you bother?
