I have been using these guys for years. I am a collector, and have taken several valuable pieces to them to be framed, and am always very happy. Once in a while there is an issue and I tell them there was an issue and they fix it. Good guys and very good work. If they weren’t good, they would not be able to stay in business for 25+ years on one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

Don’t use this place! Had an original sketch framed here and was horrified to find that they’d taken the original and replaced it with a photocopy. Confronted the owner with the evidence but got no where with him. He basically tried to blame us and said that we were the ones who gave him the photocopy, which was an outright lie if ever I heard one. If you’ve had anything done here before, I’d seriously check to make sure that you still have the original pieces that you gave him and that he hasn’t take those and replaced them with copies or replicas.

I had a wonderful experience here. I had a piece custom framed for my husband, and they did a beautiful job with it. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and courteous. I’m confused by the negative reviews I have read.

Also known as «Montague Arts, Inc.» I had a terrible experience with this place and suggest you try another framing shop if you care about the quality of the work. I brought in a wedding photo, enlarged to 54″ to be framed. Nothing fancy — just wanted the print dry mounted with a black wood frame and white matte board. The price quoted was $ 350. Dropped off the print on a Tuesday(with a $ 100 deposit) and was told it would be ready on Thursday of the following week(9 days later.) I called on Thursday and was told they needed more time and to come in on Saturday. When I saw the finished piece I was horrified. All four of the matte board corners were either over-cut or jagged. It was extremely poor work. Secondly, the matte board they used was not the white board I selected but a cheaper-quality off-white board. So I told them to do it over. «No problem… come back next week.» Well, that turned into another 10 days. I went back last night to pick it up and while the cuts were much better, they still used the wrong board! When I complained, they insisted the board was white. Um… I’m not blind. It’s not white. On top of all this, the staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. There are plenty of other places to take your business in the neighborhood.
