Very proper Polish meat market with very authentically prepared foods, traditional deli meats and sausages and absolutely fantastic smoked fish! The nice thing is that most of their prepared foods and smoked goods are made by the proprietors. So many Polish delis in New York these days rely almost exclusively on suppliers. Sometimes these supplies are great and you can still get that true taste of home but it adds a certain panache to any epicurean experience knowing that the person you made eye contact with and with whom you chatted was also the creator of the morsels you might now be chewing on. I’ve been a customer for over a decade and will remain.

I like this place. Good for polish sausages, cured meats and imported(mostly Polish) beer. The beer prices are good. They have smoked fish, too, which makes them even cooler by me.(I’m crazy over smoked mackerel). The rest of the shop is a selection of Polish imports and some prepared items like perogies. It’s a tiny place, but the staff sees to it your experience here is pleasant, even if you’re just coming in for more beer.

This is a quaint Polish convenience store tucked away in a quieter end of Brooklyn’s 8th avenue Chinatown. They sell a nice variety of Polish meats and food stuffs. I would love to have a guide walk me through some of the items as the lady behind the counter speaks very little English. The beer fridge has a large variety of polish beers you don’t see at larger supermarkets and all at reasonable prices. A neighborhood gem.
