So I just left NYSC after spending the day helping my niece write a research paper. Walking out of the locker room I dropped my iphone 3G which I have done countless times before — this time I knew something was different. My glass touchscreen was shattered and starting to splinter. UGH! So I visited the AT&T store but ran away like my hair was on fire. Holy smokes, $ 300 is a discount on a handset! wtf? I skipped trying the Apple store because it was clearly my fault and my one year warranty ended 2 months ago. So here I am sitting in Prabath’s internet café listening to the pretenders and writing this review while he skillfully attacks my phone with a razor blade and prepares the carcass for its $ 90 resurrection. Insert comment on reincarnation here… It’s not the most professional environment and most women might feel uncomfortable with the DVD/Porn shop action in the back but bringing a friend and calling Prabath ahead of time should lessen any awkward moments. The«F» train runs overhead for those ‘slopers looking to save can pull up to the King’s Highway station and head back within the hour. I love NYC! Tell Prabath that I sent you! He might sweeten the deal :) He says his website will be ready in a couple of weeks so try a google search or perhaps another Unilocaler might update this info when it’s available.
