Went there for lunch and was pretty good. Prices were reasonable between 10 – 15 bucks. I had the pulled pork sandwich with bbq sauce on a chibata roll. Came with fries, slaw and a pickle for 13 I believe. Coke refills are free. Local sport nights are popular here. Would come back if in the area again. Hidden gem.

Great local old school Brooklyn Bar with friendly bartenders and good food. I always check out the specials menu; I still dream of the corn beef empanadas we ate there on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. It’s great place to drink and eat while you watch the game.

The owner is the biggest as*hole in the world — I’ve never had an owner literally come at a patron before and challenge them to a fight(yep, he said he’d kick my ass if I ever came back). All for what you wonder? He has on his menus a bottle of white wine for $ 16.50… so I ordered it(good deal I thought). When the bill came, I was charged $ 22. That’s quite a markup from the black letter of the menu. Keep in mind, this place maybe has 30 menus, so he could easily change the price with a pen at any time(but he didn’t). The waiter said he couldn’t do anything about it, I asked to speak to the manager/owner. He didn’t come over so I went over to him. I gently explained that I’d like to be charged what the menu says, as is fair. He called me a «f*cking cheapskate» and said I was going to pay what was on the check. uh, no. I told him I’d pay what I owed him(the $ 16.50 plus tax) and I left a tip for the waiter(which I’m sure he never saw). Owner comes over and says he’ll kick my ass(in front of other patrons he does this, no shame) and says we should get the F*ck out. Keep in mind, we were a party of 15 people(different tables and checks though). So what can I say, your food is so-so, your attitude is the worst in NYC, and you’re lucky I didn’t call the police on you for making violent threats. I hope you are nicer to other folks, otherwise I can’t see what is so great about your place.

To the old, gray-haired waitress here, Yesterday, you yelled at my boyfriend and I as we were walking away from your restaurant. You yelled because, apparently, you angry that we left after you spent a whole 60 seconds to hand us menus and put placemats down on our table. We waited 20 minutes for you to come back and take our order, but you were in another room(I assume the kitchen) the entire time. If you were walking around the dining area, I would have politely flagged you over, but you weren’t. I understand you were the only dining room server at the time and the only other table you were waiting on had a whopping 8 college students at it. Were they giving you a hard time? Is that why you were so angry? Anyway, we didn’t mean to offend you by leaving at this point. My boyfriend and I are actually very reasonable and patient. We’re the type who still tips generously even after receiving poor service and lackluster food. However, my boyfriend was so hungry he was feeling sick, so we decided to get some fast-food and go home instead. I would have explained this to you on our way out, but again, you were nowhere to be found. We’ve been to R&B many times over the past 6 years. Even though the food is lackluster, we were happy to watch games there and support the business. I’m sorry that you have a sour attitude and think it’s appropriate to follow former patrons out the door. expressing your displeasure at them over something like this. I guess you wanted to make sure we wouldn’t come back. Welp, you won. We won’t be.

I have eaten here once, but mainly I go here to watch baseball and have a beer with my boyfriend. It is a very friendly bar if you are a regular. If you are just passing by and decide to stop in, you probably won’t have the best reception. But, they have a number of TVs and we haven’t had a problem asking them to turn the game on to a different baseball team. Recently we went there and there was a younger bartender(I think his name was Nick?) who fills in sometimes — he was cool. I live a few blocks away and if a game wasn’t on, I would not come here. But if I don’t feel like going that far, and do want to watch a game, I’d stop in.

The burgers are great here, but so is everything on the menu. I don’t know who’s in the kitchen, but she/he is turning out food that you’d expect in a great bistro, not just a neighborhood beer-and-the-game place. Sweet waitresses too.

Delish nachos — homemade. Not generic Chili, onions, tomatoes, cheese, guac and sour cream perfect!

Owner is an asshole. Had a bar full of drunk old men pounding booze and insisted I buy a drink or leave during overtime in game 7 of the nhl playoffs. I live around the corner and am on the wagon these days so I just wanted to watch the last period of the game with some local fans. Will never bring any of my friends who actually drink there, better off at Eloras, or Double Windsor(if there’s no game on). I have done this throughout the playoffs at various bars in park slope on 5th ave, no other bar seems to mind one extra person drinking water.

Wish this place was good… It’s in such a great looking corner bar in the neighborhood. But, sadly horrible. Ate here once about a year ago when family was just quickly passing through town — what a mistake. Everyone was completely disappointed with their meal & service. Haven’t been back since.

Good food, cold beer and kid friendly(they have a few high chairs) place in Windsor Terrace. The service was quick and cheerful, Rose was great and helped my wife and I keep our 10 month old occupied with bread sticks while we had our burgers. Not fancy but nice atmosphere, good bar food and no pretentious attitudes — kudos!

Pretty chill neighborhood bar. I was looking for a sports bar to watch MLB Postseason before heading to a hipster area with no tvs basically, and this place delivered. The food options were abundant and good on the cheap scale. Bartender was a cutie pie, always a plus.

BESTBURGERINBROOKLYN. Nay, the best burger in NYC. Nay, the best burger in the world. quite possibly. The food here is EXCELLENT. Wings, excellent. Appetizers, excellent. Dessert, excellent. I’ve never actually had mediocre food at this place. It’s a old-school Brooklyn neighborhood bar, and thank god, in my neighborhood. The closest thing I’ve seen to it is a pub in Dublin. The sort of place where people come in on a regular basis, the bar tenders and waitresses know you, and it’s completely cross-generational. And hello, did I mention the food was excellent?

Came at noon over the weekend to watch the World Cup — outside they hung a sign calling them the«World Cup Headquarters,» come on in! Two of the 6-ish TVs were playing the game, and the radio was playing a bunch of ads and lame music instead of the announcers. We asked the bartender if it was possible to switch over to the TV and he said«No, no no» as if it were a ridiculous question. To add insult to injury, the glass he gave me to pour my cider into was downright crusty filthy.

In my opinion, Rhythm & Booze is a standard neighborhood pub with a really great name. It’s the kind of place you go to when you want to relax with friends and drinks, maybe watch the game, perhaps eat pub grub, etc. Oddly enough, they sell lottery tickets there. Not sure what that’s about. Mike and I came there last Saturday night – he had a beer, I had a Diet Coke and Stoli Vanila. It was a good place to unwind after a fun-filled day and while it wasn’t the most memorable bar I’ve been to, I wouldn’t be opposed to returning.
