I’ve been working with Rachel since last November and can’t say enough great things about the one on one training that she provides. We recently passed the Pilates 30 session milestone and I can honestly say that I feel stronger and more fit at 43 than I ever have before. Rachel has tailored a program specifically for my individual needs and is always patient while explaining the details of the exercises and their affect on the body. I recommend RNS Pilates wholeheartedly.

Rachel is an absolute joy to train with. She’s classically trained in machine pilates, extremely patient, and great at explaining how the body works. Classes usually start with a quick Q&A where I ask for guidance on any of the exercises I’ve been working on at home, and last an hour. The workout is as tough as you make it, and I always leave feeling good. The studio is small, but never feels cramped, and has a little library where students can check out books and DVDs for home exercises. After about 9 months of weekly sessions, all of my most severe lower back pain is gone, and I have dramatically improved sitting, standing, and sleeping posture. Looking forward to seeing the results after a couple of years.

Rachel is great! I highly recommend RNS Pilates. I’ve been to a lot of pilates instructors for one on one instruction all over the world and it can be hit or miss as to the quality of instruction. Rachel pays really close attention to what is going on with your body on a week to week basis and continually thinks of new ways to make you feel healthier and stronger. A great little studio in Williamsburg.

I’ve appreciated every session with Rachel, who is extremely perceptive and comes prepared with a personalized program for me that is never routine. She has patiently guided me toward a noticeable progression while offering a deep level of anatomical knowledge. Rachel is fantastic — you won’t be disappointed!
