Rook Vintage is a total gem. Let’s break down why I think this new store is super awesome:
— Priced really well (especially for NYC)
— Owners/​employees are warm, friendly, and (bonus!) super cute
— Wide array of items to browse. Everything from old cameras, hats (which they allowed me to try on for like 20 minutes), furniture, games, paintings, etc.
— I’m always into the music they’re playing
It’s tough to find vintage/​antique shops where the people aren’t snooty, the prices aren’t ridiculous, and the range of items not limited so I really hope this place pops up on everyone’s radar. Plus, as they continue to move inventory more cool stuff will just keep rolling in. In fact, they even brought up wanting to bring in more furniture as well as stuff from local artists… Yesplease!
