Holy Toledo this place rules. This is straight up good, relatively cheap food. Get the pork ribs, you’ll thank me. The rice and beans will blow your mind. Grab a sodie pop. Sit on down, have a yummy treat. Not that I’m an expert in traditional Puerto Rican food, me being a white Jew from L.A. and all, but this is good Puerto Rican food. Simple as that.

I ordered yesterday bacon cheese burger deluxe an a regular cheese burger and 1 chicken pastelillo omg!!! Those pastelillos where horrible tasted like old chicken it had no taste ugh! It tasted like they didn’t even wash the chicken gross never again and they send the burgers with no ketchup no slaw or pickles that’s what a deluxe suppose to have in them not just lettuce and fries they need to look up deluxe then it had no taste it tasted like the grill if u use the Puerto Rican name damn add some flavors we pr live our spices but this is what happens when Dominicans are imposters using the Puerto Rican name imposters smmfh I should get a refund false advertisement !!

Well they changed the name to Sazon Tropical Restaurant Pizzeria but the food is still muy bien. I had the Penil with Arroz Gondules which was quite tasty. I see they added many dishes here and still serve pizza. Lol I love spanish food, I miss my mother in-laws pernil mmmm brings back fond memories to my first taste of roasted pork. No this place cant match her pernil but I dont think anyones will ever be that good. Service was fast and friendly and they add cushioned booths instead of those hard wood pizza booths which is quite an improvement to say the least. Oh the pernil with gondules and some platano maduro was $ 8.00.

I gotta say I was so happy this restaurant opened here in sunset park. there food for single person is amazing and they don’t give small amount. there combos for family size r great and affordable. the staff behind the counter r always polite. my favorite is the roast chicken yellow rice n beans w sweet plantains. there spaghetti is also another great choice.

Melting pot Italatino estilo. Spaghetti, fried food galore. Pernil, pizza, chicken. Fattening, fast affordable. Come here for high caloric input, not for those health buffs.

Get the beef stew, white rice beans and plantains in one foil pan for $ 7.00! food is well seasoned, just like abuelas! The spaghetti is soooo tasty! I havent tasted the pizza but, I have noticed people purchasing pizza. The chuletas/pork chops are so tasty and made perfectly. The bistec/steak with onions and peppers goes perfectly with the yellow rice and beans. All in all a lovely restaurant for authentic Puerto Rican food! I mostly get takeout but they have several tables. On the weekends its crowded, but there are several people behind the counter that work quickly. The people are also very warm and exhibit great customer service. also worth mentioning half a avocado is $ 1.00. YUM!

Wife brought home some food so we didn’t have to cook. Tostones were BLAND, Yellow rice was HARD, as if it was old, but my wife said they just had brought it out. The bacalao was also hard, like it was fried! It was supposed to be guisado(stewed) The only thing that was edible was the baked chicken(also bland) and white rice. How they got the yellow rice so horribly wrong is beyond me. Waste of $ 35 and we all had to eat cereal for dinner. NEVER again…
