My daughter had an appointment on at 6:15PM. She works and had to wait 2 weeks to be able to coordinate a day and time that worked for her. I was meeting her there because I was familiar with the area and she was not. I arrived at 6:00PM and the nurse told me that my daughter had not arrived yet so I sat down and called my daughter. She had gotten of the train and was a bit lost. I was speaking to my daughter for several minutes giving her directions when the receptionist/nurse tells me that the Doctor was not there. Why she did not tell me this the moment I walked in, I do not know. She claims the Doctor was called out on a «consultation» and had to leave. When I asked why no one was called her response was«I don’t know, I just didn’t». This is beyond inconsiderate and rude. I expect this to happen on occasion with an OB/GYN or a surgeon BUT a Podiatrist? And the fact no one called to even save us the travel time and money was VERYUNPROFESSIONAL.
