Horrendous experience. Went on Sunday at 1.45. Ordered two egg sandwiches at 1.50. Still hadn’t come by 2.15. We left and they really didn’t care. It might be good food but not worth the service or the uncaring attitude. Plenty of other establishments that need the business and deserve the business. They do not.

We just went here for brunch today since this seemed to be a nice little spot in the neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff and the decent food. The two young men who were serving tables were incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful. We had french toast and the pancakes, and both were quite good! We will be returning here for breakfast! The muffins were really yummy, too(we had the blueberry muffin toasted and it was divine! They were a bit slow with the service, but the place was a bit full and we weren’t in any hurry. I am sure if you asked for speedy service, they would do their best. Several people came into pick up to go orders and have a take away coffee. They seemed pretty quick for these folks.

One of the best coffee places in bed stuy! Great tuna melt, warm & friendly service and delicious coffee! I love the beautiful backyard garden. The place is kept spotless. I highly recommend this place.

My fiancé and I dined here for a quick lunch. Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly and asked if we’d like to sit outside in the garden; the tranquility that came from the garden was surreal. Now let’s get down to what you wanna know about, the food! Both my fiancé and I had the lunch box special, I the turkey and cheese panini and him the ham and cheese; both were so scrumptious! Everything was fresh and proportioned perfectly. A wonderful surprise in Brooklyn!

Awesome cesar salad. The owner is super nice and I can’t wait to go back and sit out back in their amazing outdoor garden. Great gem in Bedstuy run, don’t walk to simple pleasures café!!! I love the décor and they serve beer and wine! Will definitely be back.

We were the only ones at the café, and it took them 40 minutes to make us an omelette and french toast. Seriously?

Opens after I leave for work. Closes before I get home from work. Guess I’ll never know what it’s like inside.

A simple, pleasant café. Owner is nice and attentive. I recommend it as a study/chill out location, especially with the free wifi. The lunch menu looks nice as well.

Wonderful service, food was good for the price. The drinks and coffee were better than the other two places on this block. I especially enjoyed the fun attitude from the owner — she was courteous and welcoming to my boyfriend and I. Only thing I didn’t care for was the plastic plates. Could use a few more people on staff.

Lesson learned: never trust a restaurant with clip art in the menu. Mediocre, overpriced food. Zero ambience.

Noticed this place after getting off the bus and built up the courage to go in and try something new. Initially I was going for a cappucino but I ordered a hawain pizza and it was pretty good. Prices are decent. I recommend this place as the vibe is nice to relax and get some work done on a laptop. The owner is pretty friendly too.

Super disappointed. I was really excited about a coffee place opening up over here, but it was kind of like being an an airport lounge. Nothing was fresh, all pre-packaged down to the frozen strawberries– and it took 40 minutes for us to get our drinks after ordering. Hoping they’ll get better with time.
