Horrible branch — I came here just to comparison shop versus deals I saw online. The store manager was quite possibly the most curt and unhelpful salesman I’ve dealt with in New York (and that is saying a lot). When I initially asked him about a deal I found on the internet (and even showed him the deal on the iphone), he mumbled some nonsense about that mattress not being in stock, and tried to upsell me some other mattress which was much more $$$.
After a few minutes of confusion, he finally relented and mentioned that they had a unit of this sale mattress downstairs in the basement, but it was not on the showroom and was, hence, not worthy of buying (!). He then directed me and my girlfriend down to this basement area without supervising or even bothering to help us identify where among the dozens of mattresses lined up against the wall our particular mattress of interest was. When I asked him to accompany, he mentioned he was busy with another sale (!!!).
At this point we left. There is no reason you should be upsold and scammed by a rude salesman when there are tons of other mattress options around the city (check anything but the foam mattresses at IKEA or
).
