Decent prices, just wish they posted their regular hours in the window. Got there before 9am on a Saturday and they saw me waiting until then, just to come outside to throw something away and force me to ask them(at 9:02) how come they’re not open yet. «Oh,» he replies, «we open at 9:30.» *sigh* to customer service.

Always fresh, right around the way, great prices and if you go there enough they’ll remember you. WIN-WIN!

One of my go-to fish spots in the neighborhood. Fresh seafood with good prices. Can’t beat it.

If you are seeking fresh fish and seafood, make sure to stop by this market. The prices are cheap and the quality of fish is excellent. As a fisherman, I can tell the difference between fresh, frozen, and old fish. I must say that the market has fresh fish on a daily basis. Their best sellers are the porgy, whiting, and red snapper fish. Pros– freshest fish, reasonable prices. Clean but smells a little fishy(it is a fish market though). Cons– the older gentlemen doesn’t speak too much English. Try to stop by on a day when his two sons are there Notes/tips– Come in when the two younger gentlemen are there. They speak English fluently and they are always willing to help. If you need any tips, just ask. Fridays are the busiest day.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. We picked up a large piece of catfish for dinner, and after beginning to fry it up, noticed a foul, odd smell. We decided to finish cooking it, and each took a nibble off the corner to see if it was edible or if that curious smell was in fact a bad fish. There was just something off about it, a muddy, old taste, so we threw the whole steak out. We both were up in the middle of the night with painful tummies & an uncomfortable bathroom situation just from a tiny bite. Thank god we decided not to eat it. Now I cannot get the foul stench out of my house that has been lingering for 2 days. This obvi should not happen from cooking a fish! The rotten fish from this joint should make you steer clear. … we did get some extra large shrimp from here as well that seemed to be fine. But after that experience it’s not worth it going back and risking it.

I love having a good fish monger in the neighborhood. I first stopped by for seafood for a clam bake and they had me covered. Their hours are Sun, 8am — 5pm; Mon — Sat, 8am — 8pm.
