Poor customer service. They will take the regular customer before you… Even if you are waiting more than 30 min. No complaints on manicure or pedicure

I’ve been going to Sunshine years for over a year. They’re very professional, friendly and I always leave with a great mani /​pedi. The prices are very reasonable and they have a great selection of polishes and gels. I always ask for Sisi but when she’s not been there I’ve had someone else do my mani /​pedi and I’ve never been dissapointed.

If your not a regular or do not have an appointment be prepared to be tossed around all over the place and rushed out the salon with a half decent gel mani. I asked for a gel manicure design with a glitter gradient, showed the lady who claims she could do it like the picture i showed her and all she did was lightly polish over my nail, no brush used, no time taken. And to top it off it is already chipping and it has not even been 72 hours yet. I’ll take my business elsewhere that will take their time to do my nails next time.

Cute little salon in a nice area. the staff is nice. they have a decent polish collection. I came in at 9:35 for pedi and acrylic tips. Everything was going fine but I was a walk in. the couple that made a reservation came in late and were priority over me which left me with no one to finish my service. This made me a little upset because I wanted to get in and get out. I left with my toes done. So lesson learned, make an appointment! I had to come back next day for my acrylic tip. This time the nice man did my nails, they were well shaped and he took his time but not perfectly executed and he was REALLY rough with my nails, three of my fingers bled! I guess thats common with male nail techs. That evening the acrylic tip on my big toe popped right off. I very much wanted to like this salon but I’ve had better experiences.

Everything is clean.
Everyone is pleasant.
Decently priced.
Very attentive.
If I ever move, I’ll still be coming here to do my nails.

I love Sunshine Nails. I am NEVER disappointed. I was introduced by my sister and her best friend and since then I always go back. the few times I went elsewhere I was so pissed. lol.
Cici does my nails and she is GREAT. My nails last sometimes up to a month. The place is VERY clean and service is GREAT.

I have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and I love this place. It’s never a long wait and Lucy is really good!

After searching FOREVER to find a nail salon that will deal with my pickiness, the heavens or should I say the sun shined down on me and I found Sunshine Nails! For a nail buff like myself, it was perfect. On the shelves you can see all colors and brands of nail color that you can think of. This was even better if you do gel manicures! Loads and loads of selections unlike the other nail salons on my journey. I love, love, love going to Jenny because she is neat, thorough and gives you the truth as you pick your nail color and she creates cute designs. Sisi is another favorite who has a very similar work ethic. These ladies both do a wicked gel manicure, regular manicure and pedicure and I’m sure they can do anything else that your little hearts desire! Most importantly the price is right! Fair pricing for excellent service! How can you go wrong?

Awesome nail place! Out of the five ladies there, May and CiCi are the best ones there so make an appointment with them if you can as they are booked up pretty fast. Jenny’s not bad either.

Unlike many other salons in the borough (not counting downtown neighborhoods) this place is clean and I love that. They take their time and give you a good job, no matter what the service. Their UV Gel manicures last up to 3 weeks (if you’re careful) and their pedicures and wonderful. Only thing they close early on weekdays.
I try to go every other weekend and I am always satisfied. I came here for a quick acrylic set over a year ago when my salon was full, and I have never left ;)

I’m walking home from possibly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon, and considering I’ve probably only been to 5 – 6 different ones my whole life that’s pretty sad. I heard a nail tech named Suki did pretty good gel nails with simple designs on nails and called called this morning to make an appt later on with her. She was not available but they tell me on the phone anyone can do designs. I make an appt but arrive 10 min late due to bus traffic and tell them my name and what I want and that i called earlier but was sorry for being late (i understand them not wanting to be there til 10 when it closes at 7 because people stroll in at 615) immediately get stared at, as if they didn’t want me to get a gel manicure AND pedicure. I get tossed around in the pedicure chair during my half ass pedicure. Legs and feet being thrown around instead of being placed on the foot rest area because of course they are rushing and trying to get this done in 3.5 minutes. Next is my gel manicure where the woman proceeds to do the same thing. Rushing through it and carelessly throwing my arms and hands around to polish each hand as fast as possible. I show her a simple glitter design (that I have done on my OWN before and I am not a nail tech) and I ask her to do it. She says my nails are short but I tell her basically how to do it and she said ok. She starts by grabbing the wrong color polish I had asked for, but I let it go because i didnt need to ask her for another thing. She begins doing it on one finger and I tell her that it should look a little different and se says «no this is right because your nails are small.» I tell her again how to do it again (this was not by any means a difficult design) and she half ass does it because she’s gotta rush to do this as fast as possible because god forbid she’s here 5 min later than the place closes. My nails are sloppy, not what I wanted in the least bit and the ring finger on each hand was left dirty and half done after I pointed out 3 times that it needed another coat. I was then charged extra money for my «designs» when I received the bill. All in all this was a terrible experience and some of the people here clearly hate their job and don’t want to do anything extra or put any extra effort into doing something that people politely ask even when people are willing to pay/​tip more, but you sure as hell better believe they will charge you for the «extra» that they do. I will NEVER come to this place again.

Nice little local spot to come for a quick fix or if your on a budget. The atmosphere is clean and friendly!
