Loved my class with these ladies. Was fun and informative and YUMMY! I liked that it was only a one night class– as a new mom, it’s hard for me to commit to ongoing classes. The was a great class to get some basic cooking tips and to learn how to make healthy delicious food. Highly recommended!

I attended one of their cooking classes. I’m quite a novice in the kitchen and the folks at tABLE were really attentive during the entire class. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and the class setting was a perfect combination of relaxed and informative. Highly recommended!

I had the privilege of attending tABLE health’s first cooking class a few months ago — I cannot rave enough about it! Besides teaching the class delicious recipes and talking about nutrition content(for example, why whole wheat pasta is better for you and when to use it) I personally learned to improve my cooking methods. I never realized there was an easier(and more nutritionally beneficial) way to chop onions/garlic ect. Plus Rachel was really informative about kitchen timing which I have always struggled with. The end product of everyone’s efforts were incredible — we shared the meal with our fellow classmates and had a lovely time. Afterwards, there was plenty of food to bring home(they gave us tupperware!) so I had a delicious lunch the next day too! I’ve since used two of the recipes tABLE health provided us(they give you a recipe packet of everyone the class makes) and have had great reviews. I consider myself an intermediate cook, and they really helped enhance my abilities. Plus, everything about that night felt healthy and comforting — it had a great community feel. I subscribed to their mailing list and heard about their tent at the Park Slope Farmer’s Market. I stopped by about a month later and sampled their out of this world kale and apple bruschetta. Kale. And. Apple. Bruschetta. Who even thinks of that? That experience alone really showed so much creativity on tABLE health’s end. If you have any interest in nutrition, cooking, healthy living or even just community events, I HIGHLY recommend taking a tABLE health cooking class!
