Best tacos EVER! I only took off 1 star because there is no décor, but then again, that’s really part of the charm. The people are nice as can be and all of the food is fresh and cooked to order! Never misses.

This is the real deal — best tacos, cemitas, and tortas I’ve had in the area. Very nice shakes. Pretty quick delivery. Friendly. Nothing fancy, but simple, fresh, authentic(compared to other nearby options).

Always great food! And always great delivery service and timing. If you call to place order, they’re always very sweet. Food is the best for this type in the area!

I have tried a pretty big percentage of their menu and it’s all great! The only place I get delivery from that is consistent quality and on time. Their tacos and all-day breakfast are especially good.

The tacos are wonderful. its is hard to enjoy a meal in the restaurant itself thanks to blaring music and an always-on television. So we order in from here quite a bit, usually getting 2 or 3 ‘large’ tacos per person. When they arrive complete, the tacos(which include a little guacamole and diced onion) come with a handful of grilled spring onions and jalapenos on the side, as well as a little basket of radishes and lime wedges, and a small container each of a red salsa and a sweeter, tomatillo-based sauce(our favorite). But that is on a good day. The grilled onions and peppers are always present, but about half the time one of the other elements are missing. We almost always remind them we want the tomatillo sauce, and it does not show up about a third of the time. Tonight, our order of 8 tacos and request for extra tomatillo sauce came with no radish, lime, or red sauce, and just one little container of the sauce we asked for(as if we had ordered just 1). This would not be a big deal except we seek out this food because we want all the ingredients. Without the added contrasting elements, the tacos become just ok, and there are plenty of OK takeouts around here. I will be ready to give this place another star as soon as they become more consistent, and acknowledge when they can’t or won’t deliver what was requested.

Salsa de Chicharron is buried under salsa verde. Really gummy and chewy, very good hot, awful cold or microwaved. Tongue taco is standard, I like all of the toppings for offal. Spanish sausage taco is very salty, crisp skin. Torta cubana was a little dried out.

Make no mistake. This is a taco place. You come here for tacos and it’s variations(sopes, quesadillas, huaraches. etc) They do these well. Their meats list is varied and all tasty. Tripas has a nice crispyness to them and lengua isn’t soggy. Only get the grande versions of tacos and the pequeñas aren’t worth it. The plate dishes, steak ala parilla or mexicana, chicken molés are ok. Good but not great. I would actually go there to sit down and eat. Ordering delivery from here takes forever. My go to meal there is a carne enchilada taco(not on the menu, but still made regardless), a lengua or a tripas taco. Or an order of handmade sopes and quesadillas. And their spicy chicken stew soup. It’s basically a spicy broth with a chicken leg in it and epazote herb. Comes with tortillas and a great way to add a different texture to the meal.

The best thing I can say about this restaurant is that the food is edible. It’s most certainly not good and it’s borderline bad. Everything tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The meat was extremely dry, there was large clumps of stuck together rice, and the beans were watery and gooey. I know I won’t be eating here again.

The food here has got it going on. :D Sure it’s a little shabby but the food is Tijuana Mexican which means its pretty authentic and not as greasy as the other Mex food places. The pricing is good and the portions are pleasant. I love Mexican food and I love Tijuana Mexican food so maybe I am biased. Granted this place isn’t exactly a date spot, but it’s certainly a place where you will get good, reasonably portioned and reasonably priced food, hot and fast. Try it :)

This place has at least two great things going for it. First, it’s in a Mexican neighborhood and it’s aimed at Mexicans. The only other customers I’ve ever seen here are Mexicans. It’s the real deal. Second, they make awesome mole poblano. It’s dark, rich, spicy, chocolatey, and completely addictive. Have not had mole this good in New York before. I go down there just for the mole. It seems like some of the complaints below are that this place is not Taco Bell or Chipotle. Thank goodness for that. People who want that should just go to a chain restaurant or to that Chinese restaurant, Yummy Taco, down Church Avenue and leave Los Poblanos to those who know better.

This place kinda sucks. Not sucky enough to the point where I’ll stop eating here, because Lord knows I’ll get the munchies and call Los Poblanos again. But the meat is dry, and the food overall is kinda bland. Reaffirmance that Mexican food in California is(still) the best.

Pros: Delivers late, through GrubHub, and pretty quickly! There’s no delivery minimum, and the prices are reasonable. The delivery guy was friendly. My huevos rancheros looked really nice! Cons: I took my first bite and my mouth was on fire. I’m not exactly a wimp when it comes to salsas, but I prefer to taste the food itself. However, this was unreasonably spicy. I ate a little of it, drank a pint of milk to quench the fire, and finally couldn’t eat any more. I might try them one more time and ask if they can make it mild… I feel defeated. One more small thing, I got a side of chips and sour cream, and the container had opened, spilling the sour cream all over the chips. I guess that happens often, because the chips were in their own plastic bag with the cream. Moral of the story: if you like your food hot like fire, order from this place.

Ok, so it’s not amazing, but it’s good and repeatable. My sopes con carne have been good every time, even if sometimes they come with a sliced radish and other times a sliced tomato. The shell is crispy on the edges and softer in the middle. The delivery time to my area is about an hour but I keep ordering so they must be doing something right. Best part? The large slices of fresh avocado.

I live in Flatbush, off the B/Q Church Ave. stop, and there’s a severe lack of real Mexican places around. There is a Mexican place on Flatbush Ave. but it’s not authentic Mexican, it’s one of those Chinese run Mexican places, which I sometimes actually get a craving for, but it isn’t the real deal. I searched the internet for Mexican restaurants by me and Taqueria Los Poblanos was one of them. So I hopped on the B35 bus for a couple of stops and ordered some food to go. I ordered 3 tacos(pork, steak, and chicken) and a chicken burrito. The tacos were good, served on corn tortillas, with cilantro and onions. The pork taco was a little fatty, but good nonetheless. However, I wasn’t really impressed with the burrito. I liked that they melted a Mexican style cheese over it, but I was expecting tomatoes or pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole inside(I even asked the counter girl what was in the burrito and she said all those ingredients would be in there). There was some guacamole in the burrito but very little. No sour cream or tomatoes/pico de gallo. I figure I just have to be more assertive with my order the next time I get a burrito. I found out they deliver to my street and took a menu with me. A couple days later I ordered delivery from them. They were pretty timely. I ordered 3 grande tacos and an order of nachos they call ‘Nachos Texanos’. The tacos were delicious and the nachos were as well. ‘Nachos Texanos’ come with melted cheese, steak, avocado slices, nice lengthwise cut slices of jalapenos, onions, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole. They also had pickled carrots in it, which I thought was kind of strange, but tasted good as well. FYI; for those who reviewed and complained about the tacos being too small, you have to pay attention to the menu. They have pequeno(small) and grande(regular/large size) tacos. The first time I ordered the pequeno, mostly because I didn’t know if they’d have good tacos or not, the second time I ordered ‘grande’ tacos, which were bigger. Both were fine with me, it depends on how hungry you are. Overall, I like this place and will probably order from them again. One downside is that they’re cash only(like most money laundering businesses in NYC, they can definitely underreport revenues this way) which is kind of annoying, but that’s the way so many businesses operate in this city. I’m not accusing them of money laundering specifically, but I just can’t stand the whole cash only thing. I will probably try other Mexican places around the area, but Taqueria Los Poblanos does a decent job. Also, it was kind of funny, but when I ordered delivery from them, I got an extra bonus in my bag. It was kind of weird, but cute and nice of them to do that. It was a calender that had Jesus on it that said ‘Taqueria Los Poblanos’ on it, lol. So I made up a funny jingle that goes…“Taqueria…Los Poblanos… you gave me Jesus… with my tacos.” Rhymes too. Anyway, I recommend trying this place if you’re around my area of Flatbush with few authentic Mexican options.

Probably good if you get the food at the restaurant. Got it delivered, the chalupas were soggy and my burrito was pretty bland. Also, they forgot to send the guacamole I ordered. Not sure if I’ll give it a second chance.

The only positive is the food is fresh. Got that going for them. But that’s about it. Burrito was bland and 70% rice. No guac or sour cream in the burrito. So I ordered guac on the side. They forgot to throw it in the bag. Oh, one other thing that was good was the hot sauce– it was smokey and spicy and rich. The salsa was kinda watery both in flavor and texture. The chips were ok. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things. But it doesn’t matter because I won’t order again.

I never realized how hard it would be to function without a full functioning kitchen! Oh well. the sans kitchen access has allowed me to try out the various local restaurants in our new hood! It’s sad that the review are meh. for this place. I actually really like it. The tacos are fresh I had shrimp tacos! We also had the full chicken one day, which is great because I just use it for my lame salads i make at home! No, don’t eat there, get take out. The hombres tend to have a staring problem! so i suggest order in, and get delivery!

I’m not in this neighborhood a whole lot, but I stop here if I’m strolling down Church. Every time I’ve gotten either the shrimp nachos or the shrimp tacos. Very fresh, very yummy, but surprisingly, I think it could be a little less expensive. But what couldn’t? As far as the booze goes, I was in there yesterday and noticed two big containers, one with red liquid and fruit and one with white liquid. Maybe some sangria and pina coladas being sold on the side?

I tried this place and did not enjoy it. The tacos are extremely small. I didn’t even know they made tortillas that small! I asked for no onions and of course I got onions. Yummy Taco is a much better value.
