I always pass Ted and Honey when taking my dog to Cobble Hill Park, and on this particularly sunny Sunday, with so many pet owners sipping tea at the tables outside, I decided I’d finally check it out. Walked in and found myself inside a tiny, dimly lit(and hoppin!) café. What a surprise! There are wood tables for brunching, a bar area, and an ordering station at the back. I wanted to order the Tea Lover’s blend but they were all out of it. It seems like every place, everywhere I went this weekend was out of stuff. Anyway, so I ordered this caramel black tea and it was really yummy. If you’re a fan of sweet loose leaf tea, you’ll enjoy this. I’m looking forward to returning for one of those massive cookies everyone was eating. Overall, a very adorable brunch/tea place in a great park-side location.

Ventured out to Brooklyn for brunch with a friend one weekend and stumbled upon this place. We really wanted to eat outside, but the outdoor seating is limited and the inside was packed so we found a bar like table by the window, inside. I would say that aesthetically, the interior is not so comfortable. The food was good but not great. My friend and I ordered the huevos rancheros and an ice tea. The corn tortillas tasted dry and the dish didn’t have strong flavors to it(unless you added loads of hot sauce). Will not return.

I ordered a cappuccino and was charged astonishing $ 5 bucks! But I drink up to 5 expensive coffees everyday so the price doesn’t put me off as long as it’s a great coffee. My cappuccino came in a 12 ounce cup which is ludicrous, full off milk and more like a latte, which is not want I wanted. It also came piping hot which meant I couldn’t even give it a good taste test before I left without scolding my mouth. When I could get to drink it the coffee was nasty and after two sips I threw it out. The guy serving wasn’t much of a delight either, a” Hello and how are you doing” to the customer can go along way on their opinion of a place. I wouldn’t go back but the 1 star is for the cool little coffee shop that it is and I like.

What why doesn’t this place have all of the stars? The food is good. Like really yummy. Especially the huevos rancheros and BLAT. And the morning glory muffin. Mmmmm. Also wine and beer! And I can sit outside with my pup!

Went here for lunch. Nice place with a good vibe. The problem I have with it are the prices are very high for what you get. I ordered the special Hawaiian pork sandwich for $ 12. It was fine but small. No sides except for a few pickled veg. Probably will come back and try a muffin and coffee but that’s about it.

Such a pleasant spot to spend a few hours. I met a friend for iced coffee and then ordered sangria because why not. The sangria was surprisingly tasty for a coffee shop and the coffee was also great. i didn’t get food but my friend’s breakfast sandwich looked delicious. FYI, the credit card minimum is $ 5, I think.

A great little neighborhood spot with beautiful natural lighting for a tasty bite and some space to work. You can also take your order to the cobble hill park across the street! Solid brioche buns for their breakfast sandwiches, I had the egg and havarti. The buns were plump, golden, and light, and the egg was a fluffy scramble. Served with a sided of garlic sautéed kale, it tastes really good when you stuff the kale inside your egg and cheese sandwich. :)

Okay, two stars. First, I’d like to say, if you’re just looking at the stars and not the reviews, I wanted to stress that if it were me, I’d go someplace else, so thought the two stars were more appropriate. I got a breakfast sandwich for $ 10, two eggs, bacon, cheddar on multigrain bread. The bread was soggy and untoasted. The sandwich was also really small for $ 10. I wish I had gone to the deli on Henry and Degraw instead. I was expecting something amazing for $ 10 because it’s ten f*ing dollars. The iced coffee is excellent. The ambience is also excellent. But two stars because of this pathetic egg sandwich. Really disappointed. I would actually have returnd the sandwich if I hadn’t already gotten home and been on a time crunch. Not going back. If you just want coffee, it’s really good, but don’t get an egg sandwich. You will be robbed for some soggy bread.

Food is average and expensive for what it is. I like the music and the service is fast, however it seems like a meeting point for all the mothers with babies and toddlers or all the pregnant women who blab loudly about their carts and what their kids did that morning. You can see the picture…

This place is adorable and has good food. It’s very close to where I live and I love that it’s on a residential block. My one complaint is their cappuccino policy. I ordered one, and it came in a large size cup. When I complained that I hadn’t ordered a large they told me not to worry that it had a double shot and that that was industry standard. I said OK I’ll know how better to order next time and then according to my husband the young woman behind the counter said, «Stupid» as we were leaving, referring to me. I’ve been drinking cappuccinos since before this young woman was born, and I know it is NOT industry standard to give a double shot and a large cup. Just go to Café Pedlar and you’ll see. I was told the same thing about industry standard another time I went, but with far less attitude so I will probably keep going back.

Went for lunch on a Monday with a friend and it was pleasantly not-too-empty, definitely not-too-full. Great vibes and a welcomed solace from the winter weather outside. I got the lemon and herb turkey sandwich — really good! The seasoning was reminiscent of a Thanksgiving turkey with a nice addition of avocado(which automatically makes anything better). My friend got the tomato soup + grilled cheese combo which was also a great choice, and had beautiful presentation.(My sandwich didn’t have quite the same level of presentation, but the flavor definitely made up for it.) I also got an americano, which was pretty standard. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try, if you’re looking for a lunch spot to go solo(there are lots of ~high end~ magazines available for browsing) or with a date.

The place is the cutest little place ever, one of those hidden gems in Cobble Hill with great services. The place is cute, but fills up quick. Went here on Sunday for brunch, and the place was packed with little space to move around. There is one big table, and about 3 sets of little table that are two seaters. There’s an espresso bar and unlimited drip that comes with lunch, but they also have great mimosas. One of the best I’ve taste, very refreshing. The food isn’t expensive, brunch range around $ 9-$ 13. I ordered the Chai toast, which came is small portion. I did not taste the chai, just the sweet hint of cinnamon and the syrup. I would definitely come back for their mini teddy bears bottle of honey! Cutest thing I saw.

Oh wow! WHATHAPPENEDTOTEDANDHONEY ??? Is it under new ownership or management? Man there yesterday at cash register(hat, glasses, beard) was so sullen and unhelpful I almost left. I should have: the oatmeal was inedible. It was topped with gross somewhat dried figs — I love regular dried figs– and an inordinate amount of cinnamon/clover/nutmeg powder that rendered it inedible. Two stars for the nice waiter.

This place is adorable. The mango ketchup is unreal. Reasonable prices for brunch/breakfast. Coffee is fine. Loses a star because my avocado was questionably brown and was hardly worth the $ 0.75 I had to pay for it. i hope to return! Very cute place, portions for other dishes look pretty generous.

Cute little café that’s a thumbs up for a chilled out place to park and get some reading or work done(they have ok WiFi). Coffee is pretty standard: a Cappuccino comes in a generous mug and while it’s not the best coffee you’ve ever tasted it ticks the box. I tried the egg sandwich with avocado which was tasty and filling. Presentation could be improved(when you’re paying $ 8 for a sandwich I don’t think a plastic basket/plate is suitable) but it ain’t a deal-breaker. Atmosphere is great, with people laptop-ing, reading or hanging out. The small park next door makes it pretty popular for parents with strollers. My only complaint is that this cool little spot closes at 5pm(a bit early, no?). Get down there in the AM and enjoy some breakfast while you work.

The best French Toast I have ever had. Seriously. The best. Ever. Pair it with a chai, which is made in-house, and you will not be disappointed. The service gets the job done. It has a cool interior. But really it’s all about the French Toast.

I have been coming here on my own, with my family, and friends that are visiting NYC. I think this is a cozy little place with good food, coffee, and cookies(LOVETHEVEGGIEBURGER). I love how the staff has a bit of table service going on. I LOVETHEOCCASIONALGROUPONS! Mushroom Panini: I was very dissapointed when I ordered this. I have ordered numerous sandwiches on their menu and when I ordered the mushroom panini, I barely had any mushrooms and/or cheese on the panini. I felt that I was eating plain bread. Tips: Please bring back the french fries! I love the salad that comes with the entrée but I miss the fries. Also, business meetings with loud visitors, and noisy cell phone speakers should NOT be allowed or should be reminded to keep it down(I have had to leave due to disruptive patrons.

This red-doored, cute coffee shop is cute on the outside, but cramped on the inside. I came here for a quick bite on a holiday and was glad to see it open. But it seemed to be a little understaffed because dirty plates were littering most of the tables inside and service was pretty slow. Pros: Great salads and coffee. Cons: Shmeh sammies and sweets. Random note: The music here is usually pretty fun. Some millennials were happily singing along to an old Christina Aguilera song as I left.

Eh. The menu looks good and the place is cute but honestly their biggest draw is the location. You get the best feeling when you’re out with your kid at Cobble Park and suddenly get a craving for coffee and realize there’s a coffee place right there next to the park. However the wait for my coffee last time was ridiculous. Something like 10 minutes passed between me paying and getting the to go cup from the barista. In that time I could have walked the 2 blocks to the millions of other coffee places and be back on a bench sipping my latte. Luckily staring at Michael Cera reading a book at Ted & Honey helped the time fly by.(Sorry Mike if I just gave away your secret hangout spot)

This spot seems like a neighborhood gem! I really liked the place because it was small, quaint and cute. They had a variety of breakfast/brunch options like the croque madame which I ended up ordering. It was pretty ordinary, but tasty! I would order it again. They had a bunch of specials that my friends ordered, but I can’t remember the name… some kind of breakfast burrito and sandwich. The restaurant is also next to a dog park which is nice too. I really enjoyed walking around Brooklyn and we ate here on a perfect sunny day too.
