Great spot. Chill vibe, bartenders are always friendly and attentive. I don’t know their names but the two guys today were hilarious. The happy hour is great and their rotating beer list is always a good mix of some stuff you’ve heard of and some new stuff to try out. Music is pretty on point. No one seems like a jerk. Go here.

The Crown Inn is an excellent bar that serves up delectable drinks, cocktails, and beers. The atmosphere is vibrant and the layout of the place is great to have both intimate and casual conversations. I would recommend checking out.

DON’T DOIT. If you would like to be robbed and then chastised by the security staff, be my guest. Defs an up and coming neighborhood. Let me stress the UP&COMING part.

Bells 2 hearted IPA always on tap. Little recessed dimly lit corners to pillow talk with your girl. Big outdoor patio for the summer days. Male bartenders are chill as fuck and the female ones make me fall in love each night. Great spot!

This bar is affectionately known as a hookup bar, so I learned. It definitely caters towards that vibe. It’s very dimly lit and perfect for slurred words and drunk kisses in the dark while sipping well made and reasonably priced cocktails. The bartender makes a good old fashioned on a Saturday night. The scene is full of those hipsters turned yuppies who have pretty much overrun the commercial strip that is Franklin Avenue. I guess I can count myself as apart of that crowd I suppose. *shrugs* Get a seat in the window and watch how quickly life can change on the street if there’s space. It can get quite crowded in here quite quickly on a Saturday night. The bar seemed to be reserved for friends of the bartender who want to chat all night.

Really nice relaxed bar! I will be back!!! $ 15 credit card limit. No finger foods offered, but you can order and have it delivered. The crowd is relaxed

Crown Inn is the local watering hole where you can either chill out with a drink or amp up on Friday/Saturday night. That being said, I adore this place. It’s cozy and has a great ambiance, perfect for first dates *wink wink* or simply catching up with friends. This is really useless and silly maybe, but I love that they have hooks for coats pretty much everywhere. So get comfy and tip your bartending staff!

Went here on two different occasions. Both times I really enjoyed myself. The bartenders were very helpful with new selections in opening up my palate. The crowd was really young after work type of crowd. It did get kind of loud after maybe an hour when people became a little bit more inebriated. They have some great signature drinks to try and I think some of them are actually seasonal as well as on tap. Their drink prices can range from $ 10-$ 15. It can be a little pricey but worth it for a good atmosphere and great company. I’m not sure if like other bars in the area they allow for you to deliver food, I highly doubt it because it gets pretty crowded and there’s not a lot of table space. I would gladly go back in the near future. And they might want to look into getting a happy hour.

If you like beer, whiskey and gin, this is the bar for you. I order the East Indian Summer and it was very good with the bitter tangerine taste added to it. My friend was celebrating her birthday. She loved it here. I didn’t not particularly care much for this place. It’s reminiscent of every new bar that’s opening up in Brooklyn. Dimly lit, the same craft beers ANS whiskey being sold with boring music played in the background. I wouldn’t come back here for any drinks, but if you’re into beer, you’ll definitely like it.

I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve come on dates, with friends and if it were closer to my apartment, is also come solo. The prices are great and their beer selection is plentiful. I’ve also had some decent mixed drinks here too. The crowd is generally diverse and the vibes are good. Plus, when it’s warm out, the backyard is a nice look.

Low-key, comfortable bar. Casual outside area has a feel that you’re hanging out in a friend’s background.

Stopped in to grab a quick drink with friends. What was supposed to be 1 quick drink turned into 3 long drinks. We got there at 1:30pm on the Friday after thanksgiving. The bar was completely empty and we were the only patrons there for about an hour. This gave us an opportunity to chat with our bartender, Wolf. He was patient and attentive to ensure that he prepared our drinks as we wanted. My friend ordered an old fashioned and once he finished the drink, he realized they ran out of maraschino cherries. Wolf felt so badly about providing an incomplete cocktail so he went on the hunt for cherries and 2 minutes later, he came back holding a large can of cherries. He really went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with out orders. The great service and well prepared cocktails will have me returning.

The Crown Inn is a great place to enjoy a beer and relax. The atmosphere of this place is very casual and somewhat romantic. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendly bartenders. They are very knowledgeable of the beers on tap. There is an outdoor patio/seating that is great for large groups or sometimes to just be by yourself to reflect on the day. This place is great during the cool summer nights.

Great drinks! Loved trying some of their cocktails! I think this is going to be my go to neighborhood bar. Great environment that’s easy for conversation but still feels full on a weeknight. New cute bartender too ;)

Great for local and romantic atmosphere. It has great dark wood and bartenders that are willing to experiment with your drinks. However, it is always busy and can be loud since it is a bar. When crowded at the front entrance, try the back. There are seats in the back past the bar and bathrooms.

When my friend told me to meet up here, I was like, «why we goin to a hotel?!» I went on Labor Day and the crowd was ample and the music was bumpin. The drinks were strong and affordable. It’s not a roomy bar, but they do have a really nice back deck area, with a lot of seating options, even a separate smoking section(which nobody was respecting). Unfortunately being as it was a Monday the outdoor area closed at 11pm. I would have loved to stay a bit longer and look forward to coming back!

The Crown Inn is a fantastic late night spot on Franklin Ave. It always has a great selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and the crowd is diverse and interesting. It’s simultaneously an intimate, classy, cultured bar to hang out with friends or meet someone. They have a nice indoor bar, and a patio in the back.

The Crown Inn has all you can ask for in a neighborhood bar. Great prices? Check! Drafts are $ 6 – 7, and cocktails are $ 9 – 11. Great drink selection? Check! They have about 12 beers on tap, and both drafts and cocktails rotate regularly. Great HH? Check! Every day from opening to 8pm; $ 2 off 16 oz drafts, plus cocktail specials. Great bartenders? Check! Some of the nicest bartenders I’ve ever met; friendly, fast, accommodating. Nice backyard for outdoor drinking? Check that too! So, why the 3 star rating, then? It’s mainly the people who like to come here in the evening. It can get uncomfortably crowded during weekend evenings, and the fact that the area in front of the bar is very narrow makes things awkwardly difficult: if you’re trying to get a drink you have to constantly battle with people going in and out of the bathroom, and people just moving around the bar. Frustrating. The backyard is potentially nice and relaxing. It also has an elevated area for smokers. Unfortunately nobody cares and people smoke all over the backyard, even in front of the No Smoking signs. They also litter the floor with cigarette butts. If you’re a smoker you’ll love it; if, like me, you prefer not to inhale passive smoke while trying to enjoy some fresh air, you’ll hate it. I’ll keep enjoying The Crown Inn for weekday HH. For everything else, I prefer other bars in the neighborhood.

I came here with a group of friends because it was still open when Franklin Park closed. The vibe inside is cozy and cool, and the bartender was super nice and gave me(and a couple of friends) a free birthday shot. I see in other reviews that The Crown Inn’s bouncer has garnered some negative attention. He refused entry to one of my friends, citing something about him being too drunk to come in. This was confusing because I would venture that he was actually one of the least drunk of everyone there that night. Maybe it was because he was one of only two guys in our group? I’m not sure. This resulted in an argument between the bouncer and my friend’s girlfriend, and the whole group left when we realized what was going on. I would totally come back here for the chill space and friendly service, but I’ll do my best to avoid any more run-ins with the bouncer and his attitude.

Great bartenders and great vibe. Root beer dark and stormy is delicious. The bartender was very engaging. My drink was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the bartender fixed it without a problem. The place has tables all along, but a lot of people stand at the bar. When I went, there was only one bathroom. I don’t know if there’s another that was out of service, but the line was long. Cavernous vibe. Good music. Nice crowd. Cool bartenders.
