Honestly the food here is ok. I would NOT say it’s the best ever but what makes the experience the WORST is the wait! You could be the next person to make the order and they will take FOREVER!!! No exaggeration. Why? The food is already COOKED? Way so slow? I don’t get it!

So I went in there this morning, I ask the lady can I get the dumpling and banana separate from the Ackee and salt fish. She tell me oh u have to pay 25cent extra. I was like forget it. I never heard someone charge 25cent extra for something like that. This place been in the neighborhood for so long u would think that they would wanna keep there loyalty customers. I wish ital fusion take them outta business.

i would love to give them four stars: but the girls behind the counter are dreadful, rude, nasty, put upon, unhappy. Their piss poor attitude, really had a negative impact on our dining experience. The guy behind the counter was super sweet, and the food was really delicious. We had oxtails– winner Jerk chicken — excellent. the rice was cooked to perfection. the salads and sides were fresh, and on point. Get rid of that miserable girl, and I’m sure your business will triple. The food so good everyone comes back. but why keep her. i can only guess she’s a wife or daughter of the owner. Otherwise, why keep her. Can you imagine, what a delight it would be uf the staff was pleasant.

Best place to get West Indian food in Brooklyn! I always have to stop here to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner whenever I’m in town! I service is VERY slow like no one is in a rush to get you you’re food. But I don’t mind waiting for this food any day!!!

My sister raves about this place so I told her we definitely have to go. I tried the steamed red snapper with white rice and cucumber and tomato salad. The food was delicious and some of the best snapper I’ve had. The portions are large enough to have two meals. The entrees come with a free drink but the sodas aren’t Coke or Pepsi products — just a generic brand I believe. I also tried some of the maple salmon which was pretty good too. The prices are reasonable especially for the portion size. I’ll definitely be back. I’m actually thinking of going back there as I’m writing this review.

Came back here recently, the oxtail is not as good as it once was & the cashier was even more rude & less friendly than before.

First time here today and I’m wondering how I haven’t been here. I had the red peas soup with a fish dinner for me and my mom. Most definitely going back. Thank you!!!

Food was just okay and the young lady who fixed my food had a serious attitude problem. If I hadnt paid for my food I would’ve walked out that joint. Its wayyyyyy tooo manyyyy caribbean spots in Brooklyn to tolerate rudeness. I ordered the jerk chicken, rice and peas and macaroni salad which was good but still dont hold up to my spot at Exquisite Express on Church Avenue. Its definitely more of a take out spot.

OMG the ox-tail! Great prices, great eatery! Make sure you get oxtail gravy poured on your sides even if you aren’t eating the oxtail. Yum!

LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE!!! I was feening for some good olé fashion Jamaican food. My friends and I were searching all over Utica looking for Roti. Every place we went we were like NAHMAN!!! Finally I was like whatever let’s just get some Jamaican food. I ordered Oxtail, rice & peas, w/steamed veggies. The portion was soooo huge took me 3 shots to finish it. There were sooooo many things to choose from my mouth was just watering from behind the counter. We also had the fried fish cakes there were a little oily but for that taste, who the hell cares. They were nice and spicy. Mmmm
