I want to update my review because Paul has been promising to follow through with helping me with fixing a chair he sold me.
This raises him in my estimation a lot
I had a lot of delivery problems anda bad problem with one desk (which he replaced) but that is all water over the dam now and I don’t want to leave him with a really negative review which I felt seven months ago…
I guess you just have to keep after him if something goes wrong. He is very busy and I think he gets overwhelmed sometimes and their quality slips. But since he replaces things and promises to have them fixed, I am more than satisfied now.
I THINK… will really have to wait to see how this goes but the fact he promises to fix this now as I said gives me hope.
I notice most reviews of him are very good but there is, however, some bad slip ups on his part.
As I said, I will wait and see and change my review again if this doesn’t work out!

Just want to say that Paul is the best of the best. I was searching for a bunk bed for my kiddies and some additional furniture. I had been to several other locations and Value Furniture was my last hope. As soon as I walked in, I felt at home. He was very helpful in helping me find what I needed at a reasonable price. He also understood my urgency in selecting what would be practical for my home. Not only did he deliver on time, but the furniture arrived in great condition and the delivery men where very professional. They did a wonderful job setting up the furniture and helping me rearrange it in the room. In essence, Paul held up his promise in value, quality and time. We worked together to select what I envisioned, he took his time and made the necessary calls to meet my needs. My kids are happy and I love walking into the room and seeing such great furniture. We need to support our local stores and I definitely support Paul’s location and quality service. I love the fact that when I walked out the store, I felt that I had made a good purchase but above all that Paul gave my kids and I the reassurance that we would be thrilled when our furniture arrived. I purchased a fair amount of my furniture from Paul and he’s been great throughout the process. Took care of all the building’s insurance requirements, picks up the phone whenever you call, and always looking to help. Not to mention, his prices are great. I had a family member quote me prices higher than he did. Not to mention delivery was on time and they assembled everything for me. Cool delivery guys, had a few laughs, they were in and out in about 30 minutes.
Bottom line is, Paul’s an honest, trustworthy dealer. One you can really depend on to get what you need. You just don’t find people like that anymore.

Buying furniture here was my worst experience ever. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS STORE AT ALL.
I went to this store and I bought a sofa because Paul looked nice and friendly as reviewers say. Since he had only two sofas at the store, I had to choose one from a catalog. Believing that he said I could replace with another one for free if I didn’t like it, I decided to buy one of sofas on the catalog.
When they delivered the sofa to my apartment 5 days later, my wife didn’t like it, so I called him to have it replaced with another one. He said that he would deliver a new sofa in A WEEK. However, he didn’t deliver a week later, so I called him. He said «I don’t have a NEW sofa now. I can send a USED sofa but if you want a NEW one it takes 3 weeks.» That was totally different from what he said a week ago, but I accepted the excuse and told him that I would wait for 3 weeks. He specified the delivery day, which was 3 weeks later from the day. I was looking forward to receive the new sofa.
3 weeks later when the new sofa would have been delivered, it wasn’t delivered. He didn’t even call me. So, I had to call him. He said, «I haven’t received the sofa from my business partner, the whole seller of the sofa. Because he is Jewish and it has been Jewish holiday, he is not able to send.» This was obviously awful excuse. Who the hell believes such a stupid excuse? Even if what he said was true (of course it was a lie), he should have called me, because I was waiting for the sofa at home. I claimed about it, but he didn’t admit the fault. I hanged up the call. Several hours later he called me and apologized his stupid work. He also made a promise with me that he delivered the sofa 3 WEEKS LATER. Even though it was not acceptable situation, I had to endure and I decided to to trust him again.
3 weeks later (on the day he specified), HE DIDN’T DELIVER THE SOFA. My wife called him because I was not at home. Surprisingly, when she gave her name on the phone to him, HE HANGED UP THE CALL without saying anything. I guess he didn’t even contact the whole seller again. I had to call him. When I called him, he said, «because of Jewish holiday, I haven’t received the sofa yet.» It was incredibly awful excuse! That was exactly same excuse he used 3 weeks ago.
I gave up to replace the sofa. I don’t want to have such a terrible experience any more.

If you’re in the market for furniture do yourself a favor and go see Paul. If he doesn’t have what you want in the showroom he will get it. I was looking for a bed. I saw something similar to what I wanted. I told Paul what I wanted and what I wanted to spend and he took it from there. A great deal. Delivery and setup was done around my schedule. Great value. Great quality. I couldn’t be happier.

Had an issue with the first set of chairs we bought, but Paul replaced them, no questions asked.

I came upon this furniture when I moved into the area looking to order bed frames for my family and didn’t want to go through Macy’s. Paul, the owner, was extremely friendly, easy to work with and accommodating. He was very professional and followed through with everything he offered. I can’t remember in my life where I’ve had such a good experience with furniture purchase and delivery.
Don’t be deter by the small size of the place, he has catalogs he can easily order from. I ordered a couple of beds (Queen, bunkbed and 2 twin mattresses), and had his man put it together as well and I’m glad and was worth it. I highly recommend him.

Furniture here is good and cheap!
Especially Paul is sooooo nice! Thoughtful and warm. I not only got pretty furnitures but also had a very pleasant shopping experience here. I brought many friends here and they love here too.

I purchased my new couch at Value Furniture Warehouse. The salesperson Paul was extremely professional and friendly. He showed me a variety of options of couches for a reasonable price and set me up with a delivery straight to my home. There were a lot of options even though my price point was quite low. I chose a beautiful black couch. All of my friends assume i payed about 3x what i actually payed for it: D.
On the day of the delivery i called in to make sure everything was set and Paul confirmed. Everything went smoothly with the delivery.

Paul is the real deal. He made buying a new couch a pleasurable and easy experience. He gave me a great price and was patient with my indecision. I highly recommend buying any furniture here.

Paul is wonderful. He works with you within your budget and is incredibly patient while you make your selection. He’s also a hoot, which makes what would normally be a stressful process, fun. His prices are the best I’ve ever found and he also granted a generous discount on top of that. I walked into his store on a Thursday and had my new couch by Saturday. He also called to let me know when the delivery truck was en route and followed up afterwards to see if I was satisfied with it. Let’s just say I’m more than satisfied with my couch and Paul’s customer service!

I went shopping for a new bedroom set and couch and from the moment I stepped in the place. I met Paul and Paul was very helpful and knowledge with his products. He was very accommodating with his price, products and delivery. His furniture team was very professional and very creative when moving the furniture. Delivery fee was reasonable and Paul is a good guy to build furniture from.

I went to Paul’s store 2 weeks ago to get a dining set. Paul was super courteous and very very helpful. The set was decently priced and the delivery and assembly price was very good too. My only regret was that I had bought most of my furniture already and I wish I had known about his store earlier on.

All those five star reviews are certainly well deserved. Paul’s customer service is unparalleled to any other furniture store I have ever dealt with (even the high end ones!). He is wonderful man who will go out of his way to accommodate his customers. We had a concern with our sofa, and he was readily available and addressed our concerns promptly even after the furniture was delivered. The delivery staff that work with him, especially Joseph, are extremely courteous and friendly. I will certainly consider them if I am looking to buy furniture in the future and highly recommend them!

I bought a leather couch from Paul last year. His customer service is second to none, and he arranged for his movers to help move/​assemble the couch for a very reasonable price. Fast forward to this year, and I called Paul about moving (#nomadlife) again, and he connected me with his mover Kirk. Kirk came on time on a Sunday morning and helped me move my couch in less than 30 minutes door-​to-​door. This is my first Unilocal review. I felt compelled to call Paul back for the awesome customer service and thank him and Kirk for the smooth transition. I also created an account just to leave this review.

Walked in to Pauls store late one Friday afternoon. He greeted me with a big smile, tons of catalogs, and stories about his family — like he’s known me for years. Its easy to see why everyone loves him from the moment you meet him.
Paul was patient with me and immediately got me prices for every single item I was considering. He set up the delivery which was flawless and I got a few calls beforehand to let me know the shipment arrived, to confirm delivery date and time, and finally to let me know the truck was on the way. WHAT more could you ask for? Oh yea… amazing price and furniture assembly.
I am beyond happy I made the trip to see Paul. Definitely recommend !

Never can I remember wanting to write a review so much. Having just moved to New York from London I needed several pieces of furniture, I found VFW through Unilocal and like many others was encouraged by the reviews.
First time I went in I met Paul, who is everything everyone has described. One of the most genuine and friendly people you can hope to meet. I explained what I needed and he gave me some options and website catalogues to review. I didn’t come back to his store for a few weeks but when I did he recalled my name and things from our first conversation. Great service.
I’ve made two separate purchases and 3 bits of furniture. In one instance I ordered a sofa bed. Paul phoned me up a few days before delivery was expected and explained he wasn’t happy with the state of the packaging of the sofa when he received it, so had sent it back. It wouldn’t be in stock for a couple of weeks. Rather than shrug it off or upsell cross sell something else instead Paul gave me 2 options. He had a full instead of a queen instock for the same colour or a queen in a different colour he could get delivered at original schedule. But as I said he didn’t try and sell me something different, instead he said to pick one of those and then when he got my original order in stock he’d swap it for the temporary (but brand new) replacement already delivered. No extra cost.
So to summarise. 2 purchases, 3 pieces of furniture. Great product, great price, unbeatable service. I will be back as soon as I need something else!
