The good… The store is really clean, spacious and modern looking and I was able to leave with a new iphone. The bad: The staff/customer service. My boyfriend and I walked into the store on a Monday afternoon to get a my iPhone updated. Upon entering, a gentleman approached us and said to my boyfriend«Hey chief. What can I help you with». My boyfriend said we were there for a new phone, to which the clerk(who had yet to look at me) said, «Ok man i can help you with that.» At that point, i waived at him and let him know that I was there as well. He looked surprised… either because i called him out or because he really didn’t know I was there… I’d hazard to guess it was the former. We sat down and started to talk about my upgrade… at MULTIPLE points during the transaction he turned around and started/continued loud conversations other coworkers, who were also with customers… What is that? Throughout the conversation he was NOT paying attention to what was going on, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. All of this caused our interaction to be at least 15 – 20 min longer than it should have been. I understand that this Jennifer Lopez«Viva Movil» concept is supposed to be drawing more Latino/a customers by hiring folks from the community and making the storefront inviting… but some serious, SERIOUS work needs to be done with the customer service. Thanks for the iPhone update. I won’t be back.

because i’m really busy, or because i’m an inconsiderate, self-centered jerk, i walked into this new Verizon location at 7:45pm on a Friday night, knowing they’d probably be trying to close by 8pm, but i was greeted and sat down immediately upon entrance. after explaining that i was just trying to switch back to my new phone that stopped working but i had gotten fixed, from my old phone which i was using temporarily, the service rep said all i had to do was get a new SIM card. when we put it in the newer phone that was fixed, there was a technical problem w/the phone and the SIM card not parring, which led to about 2 and a half hours of attempts by every employee, including the regional manager who happened to be there that night, for 2 hrs after the store closed. even w/the help of Verizon technical support over the phone, and turning on and off the phone dozens of times, they determined it was the phone, not the SIM card or on Verizon’s end. but it was only w/prolonged persistence and patience by every employee at the location, that i found satisfaction. unfortunately, the phone i had gotten fixed wouldn’t work, and that was frustrating, but they managed to help me warrantee it, so a refurbished one was sent to me. they even let me go get my hoodie from my car cause i was cold and walk to the store to get a snack and a drink cause it was taking so long! i can’t thank them enough for being patient and attentive to my situation, despite the store being closed for hours by the time i finally left. if you want great customer service, definitely choose this location!
