Wexelman Warren J MD

Dr. Wexelman is just one amazing doctor. I arrived at his office with a blood pressure borderline to a stroke/​heart attack (180 X 130). He performed all the tests in the world to make sure my health had not being compromised. After a couple of days my pressure was normalized and I had no side effects– Dr. Wexelman had found the perfect medicine for me.
Besides being one of the best heart doctors in NY (he is the Head Doctor of Maimonides Hospital…) he is also a great person, with great smile and sense of humor, always willing to trully help whoever knocks on his door.

Dr Wexelman has been our family doctor for as long as I can remmber. He has a terrific sense of humor but he also means business. He knows what and when you need in regards to stress tests, heart monitor etc. Dont bother argung with him, you wont win! He dealt with all of my mom’s numerous ailments. My husband’s dad died of a heart attack so the Dr. is taking extra precaution to make sure that doesn’t happen to him. He takes the time to explain things and make sure you understand. I think he takes an extra dose of patience when it comes to me and my questions!
Most important, he was there for me when my dad was ill and was regressing with time. He responded to my calls and need in general. When my dad passed, he sat down with me and gave me the comfort I so needed. He is a real ‘mench’.
I also would like to commend the entire office staff. They are friendly, patient, and accommodating. No one likes going to doctors but they make you feel comfortable with a smile!

Dr. Warren Wexelman is a terrific doctor. He has a great sense of humor, but don’t let that fool you – he knows his stuff and you can trust him with your life, which is what you want in a doctor, isn’t it? He has always been there for me and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Simply put, Dr. Warren J. Wexelman is the man.
Not only is he my doctor, he is also in a rock band.
Yes, you heard me correctly. A rock band.*
Have I heard them play? No.
Will I ever hear them play? Probably not.
But I still consider it bad ass.
He’s so bad ass that he’s known as the «Rock Doc.»
But, I digress…
Dr. Wexelman’s office is located in a house on gorgeous Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, and his office staff is hilarious, helpful and friendly.
Dr. Wexelman is thorough and most importantly, professional.
Dr. Wexelman specializes in cardiology, but has been a fantastic primary physician. Any time that I’ve needed a prescription filled or basic medical advice, he has been more than happy to simply talk over the phone, as opposed to making me schlep all the way from SoHo to Ocean Parkway.
I’ve heard plenty of physician horror stories in New York, but I’ve only had positive experiences with Dr. Wexelman. When you’re sick in Brooklyn, I’d recommend Warren Wexelman, MD.
