Surprisingly, this place is extremely good! Whenever my uncle feels like taking a day off from work and coming to Cache Creek to release some stress and hopefully make some money. we would always eat here. He’s a big gambler so we never had to pay and had ALOT of comps to use. The last time we came and check it out. he had like $ 1200 worth of comps… that must mean he spent ALOT of money gambling. Anyways. we spent like $ 900 buying random stuff at the gift shop. like some tshirt, 2 oakley sunglasses, and like a Dooney n Bourke bag for my grandma since it’s Mother’s day. So afterwards, we had like $ 200 left and wanted to spend it all since we aren’t planning to come back anytime soon, so we decided to go get some food here. We ordered $ 150 worth of food and they were all soooooo good! My faves here are: Thai seafood plate: Lots of seafood, including clams, in like a sweet n sour sauce Mongolian Beef: Definitely the best Mongolian beef I’ve ever had. the beef is really soft and they make it better than all the other chinese restaurant I got it from Steamed Lobster in XO Sauce: This plate was just mediocore. really nothing special about it Hong Kong Chow Mein: Kinda bland to me Beef Chow fun: I would not recommend this because it was really bland. not worth it Fish Porridge: Extremely good… totally recommend this on a cold day. you’ll love it! BBQ duck with the steamed buns: This was surprisingly good. I didn’t think a casino in the middle of nowhere would have good BBQ duck. We also ordered their fried rice, I can’t remember what it’s called but it was just okay… nothing really great. Overall, this is a good place to eat if you ever go to Cache Creel. but it’s pretty pricy. Each plates ranges like 14+, so play a few hands and make some money first before you go in here to eat.

Have you ever had the sticker price stuck on your serving spoon? I never did but you will experience it here. We had ordered the seafood chow mien and the serving spoon had the price tag still on there. Do they NOT wash their NEW spoons? Scary thought. We showed the waitress and all she had to say was I’ll get you another one. What happened to I’m so sorry, or omg it must have been an oversight. Nothing. She simply took the spoon and walked away. GROSS. On to the food. This place is not very authentic but we noticed many people were waiting to be seated. We ordered the marinated soya tofu and I don’t know what the sauce is but it didn’t taste right. The fish congee had a fishiness to it which was a HUGE turn off. And the«seafood» was lacking in the noodle dish. Very disappointed. Would not go back even if you paid me.

This place WOWed me!!! My friend told me that I get 25 dollars at Cache Creek if I register a card as my first time. I know you can use it at any of the restaurants at the casino. I dont remember what else you can use the 25 dollars for because I was too damn excited! I know you cant use it on drinks though! haahah! On to the food… Marinated Soya Tofu: delicious! I dont know what this special sauce is. but its amazing. I know Ive had it somewhere. and Ive always loved it. Duck Noodle Soup: Loved it!!! My friend substituted the egg noodles for the wide rice noodles and it was really good. I personally like egg noodles with duck! The broth was yummy! I felt very healthy eating it afterwards! Shanghai Noodle Soup: Liked it a lot! It was spicy like it said in the menu! I love the noodles they used! I do think the duck noodle broth was way better! I have been craving for these types of noodle soups. It probably detoxed my body from all the crap Ive been eating and all the alchie Ive been consuming! The aftermath of a Vegas trip really makes you crave for your mother’s homemade chicken soup. In my case. it would be homemade chicken PHO! Anyways, this place totally hit the spot for me! Enjoy! :)

After a few hours of gambling, the bf and I decided to hit up this place, which was recommended by the bartender in the high limit section. The name changed to Chang’s! The place was well decorated and clean. Wait time was quick, which we ate after 10pm. Our waiter was quick and helpful. Helped me decide on appetizers, which were the pot stickers and those were pretty filling =) The mainland eggplants were extremely good! Def recommend. The pad thai was ok. Not as sweet as usually. We ordered it spicy so that could be why it was pretty tangy. The portions were a good size. And our waiter always made sure our drinks were full.
