I was not happy with my overall experience with this vendor and just wanted to post so other brides are aware. We hired amore for our caterer for our wedding in July. Well a few months before my venue canceled on me and the new venue would not allow amore events. I had put down a pretty heafty deposit which I tried to get back or move to my rehearsal dinner so I did not loose out on almost a grand. Amore events told me I could not be refunded anything or move the date. I did sign a contract and understand that there was really nothing else that could be done. I guess I was just hoping the company would have worked with me more on the issue. The owner called me and was literally screaming at me through the other end when I tried to contact him about working with me. Telling me he was going to sue me for slander and take me to court. He also continued to call my husband over and over at work when I was the one trying to talk to him… he basically said I was incompetent and he was getting tired of dealing with us. I have never worked with a company like this and I advise all brides on any vendor to read reviews first! The owners son was nice and helpful but past that I would not use the company again.

Last summer I got married! As exciting of a time that it, weddings tend to bring a lot of stress. And this venue was Cheap. We did not have a ton of money and Amore was able to help us for a the right price. I recommend Amore for anyone that is trying to have a wedding under 10 K. Great food Great DJ Great Custom service Great experiences CHECKTHESEGUYSOUT!

I agreed with the other reviews. I recently had my wedding reception at the castle wood event center, one of their venue location. I do not recommend this event service at all. In fact they don’t even deserve a star! The contact manager is a big talker who knew so little about providing a great customer service. He is a big manipulator. I came to this place because of my budget. The deal sounds great but you definitely get what you pay for. They lack communication, customer service, and professionalism. After we signed the contract and gave them the deposit, they never care about us. We didn’t confirm time, service, photos, food, everything until 5 days before our big day! I did contact the manager 6 months in advance and even a month before and never heard back from him or he keeps saying, we have to wait until we get closer to the event. They are horrible in responding on our needs and demands. Not only that, the manager threaten to take us to court when we want to cancel the event. Through the conversation, he YELLED at us, mind you we are paying him. The manager told us several things that turned out to be a lie. There are no dressing room as he mentioned, I have to get dress in a storage room because the bathroom is not big enough. The set up is completely opposite from what we requested, the bartender sounds like his wife who happens to have the license because she took a course out of boredom(she doesn’t even know how to make sex on the beach or what a moscato is), the set up was not on time(me and my husband had to help them with set up and clean up), the food order was incorrect even though the manager stated«we can make anything», we ordered BBQ chicken and got chicken Marsala but it looks like chicken pasta. The photographer looks like his neighbor who just happen to have a professional camera. The pictures were unedited. It took them a month and a half to send the cd after I’ve called them 10 times, left messages and no respond. The CDs was very unprofessional, there were finger prints on them and water stain. They said they will go through the pictures and take out the bad ones… They never did! My negative list can go on for the next 3pages. The only good thing are the dj and the photo booth. Hopefully, this is a brief idea for future brides and event planners. I highly do not recommend this place. I don’t even know why they are still in business.
